Bloody Shoes

One of their banquet supervisors Curt Weaver stole hundreds of dollars from our small local business. Do not do business with this company until Curt Weaver is gone. Awful experience!

DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! They get one star because I'm forced to in order to give them a review. This company is associated with Nascar. When Nascar races are being held Americrown hires temporary employees to work in the track suites. These suites are in the towers that overlook the track. These suites are generally filled with well to do people. Team owners, dealership owners, manufacturers like Ferrari, Acura, Porsche, executives, etc...When working in the suites you are to cater to their every whim. Treat them like royalty. In years past you brought the suite occupants their food, drinks, cleaned up after them, and anything else they wanted. Generally you were tipped well. However in the past several years the tipping trickled down to nothing or never. Many workers were suspicious that Americrown and or Nascar was marketing the price of these suites to companies as all inclusive and that tipping was not required. This may or may not be true. Now in 2017 the Rolex 24 is currently going on as I write this. It started yesterday (Saturday). Americrown and or Nascar has changed the procedure in the suites. Instead of suite staff bringing the suite occupants their food and drink the suite customers must get up out of their seats and leave the suite to get their food and drink and bring it back to their suite. The suite customers do not like this because they have to leave their seat and miss the race. Due to this procedure change the staff in the suite is not getting tipped. Now understand that the suite staff is still working in the suite for 18 hours (Saturday) cleaning up their trash, carting away their dishes, and taking care of the customers other whims. The tipping has come to a near halt. The staff is paid minimum wage and you are on your feet for 18 hours with a quick turn around to come back the next morning (today) for another long day. You get a very short break and you are lucky if you get to eat something. The suite customers have requested that we the staff go get their food and drink so they don't have to miss the race (this would likely help us get tips) however Americrown management would not allow us to do this.Americrown and Nascar should be ashamed of themselves for treating employees so badly. Incidentally some of the temporary staff who signed up to work at this race have great backgrounds and credentials. Americrown and Nascar are lucky that they were able to sign up such quality temporary staff. Some of these people have better qualifications and education than the Americrown event managers.Americrown you need fire your full time managers of these events! Your mistreatment of temporary workers has been going on for years. To the reader of this review. You should know that year after year Americrown has great difficulty recruiting temp workers to work in these suites. They continually email and phone years past suite workers begging them to come back. Tips are promised but rarely happen. It's time for Americrown and Nascar to charge suite occupants upfront for tipping like restaurants do for parties over a certain number.
