Better Taste Jamaican Restaurant

Wasted gas 2 days in a row driving here for food and they are not open. No sign on the door or anythingUpdate: came back 2 months later and once again they are closed with no sign on the door and no explanation despite the sign on the door that saying they close at 10 and on google it says 9:00. Poor customer service to not care that people take time to come here.

Tried going here during lunch hour and they weren’t open. No signs on the door explained why. But a sign with their hours indicated they should have been open.

Very rude and half of their menu they don't even have cooked half the time. Idk about anyone else but I don't want to wait 1hr for an order of chicken. The staff will sit and eat until you make it known you want to order and will walk away to go eat more while you are ordering

Good food wish they brought the Jamaican beef patties back. But other than that everything was great. Five stars.

Food wasn’t as expected needed more flavoring . Mac and cheese absolutely disgusting also rice and peas was over cooked

This was the best Jamaican food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I loved the sides and the ox-tails were very tender and everything was very tasteful! I would definitely recommend.

Family owned very good I would go back for sure when in the area. The j*** chicken ,rice and peas and veggies great. Enough food to skip dinner Very nice and welcoming loved it

Great place to grab some authentic grub! The food is amazing and everyone is really nice. The hospitality is A1! We will be coming back. The curry chicken is phenomenal!

Excellent, excellent, excellent authentic Jamaican cuisine!!! 2nd time visiting and it was just as good as the last time, almost 2 years ago. Will always return whenever we're in the area. Hopefully next time we can get the beef patties!

The owner of this establishment was very courteous and inviting The establishment was very clean.The food was great.I felt like I was eating homemade Jamaican food.The price for the food was very reasonable.I got alot of food.I had the curry chicken with rice and peas,with cabbage.I was visiting Daytona for the first time.This establishment was the only Jamaican restaurant that had more then one choice and was really set up like a Jamaican restaurant.My food was great!!!!

J*** Chicken was tasty and not too spicy but IMHO $9 for a 2 pieces is overpriced. Also had dumplings that were too hard and dry for me. I think a Lunch Special would be a better deal and I would be willing to give that a try next time.

It was awesome ?, tried 5 different places for me and family to eat and all were 2-3 hour wait or just would not allow us in! Called to see what the wait time looked like, and was told come on in there is no wait time ?. She made our day and was welcomed into her place with a smile! My grandkids enjoyed every bite from dinner to dessert, Thank You for helping us out!

Delicious and authentic Jamaican food! Visiting from out of town and am pleasantly surprised to find this amazing gem of a restaurant right off of Atlantic Ave. The curry goat, rice and peas, and cabbage are so good! The service was great— fast and friendly. Also, there are plenty of parking spots near the restaurant. I’ll be sure to return every time we visit!

Authentic Jamaican cuisine. My family and I enjoyed their food twice while visiting Daytona Beach. Great prices and friendly staff. As a chef I’m not easily flattered. This places hit home. Must try!
