Crabby’s Oceanside

Didn't eat . Great view but it's the same in Daytona. People in the service industry are all the same around there. Over worked under paid and realy dont like tourists except for their money of course. Nothing different than the next 10 places down the beach. Had a drink and left. Nothing special.

Last year (2024) I highly recommended this place, but it has since fallen off. Undercooked lobster bites. No one answers the phone to order take-out during our lunch shift. Just awful. It's a shame because all of our employees enjoyed eating lunch there.

This was my second visit to Crabby’s. My first time was during the day time and i ate outside on the deck with fantastic views of the beach.
This visit my sisters and I (Party of 4) ate inside due to the chilly weather conditions. We loved the clam chowder. The main dish for me was the Hogfish Snapper with coconut rice and fresh vegetables. Two of us enjoyed the meal, but all left happy. Our server was wonderful with us.

The food was ok. Nothing special. Not worth 21.99 for fish and chips. It wasn't as the menu said it just tasted bland. Not very flavorful the French fries were soggy. The portion size was the only good thing

Our server Bree was fantastic and we loved the atmosphere. I grew up serving on the west coast of Florida and love to play tourist when I visit my old college town. I dropped in for a beach lunch with friends. The views are obviously incredible, the drinks were good albeit pricy (like all tourist traps), food was solid but not stellar. The mahi and grouper sandwiches were perfect, the seafood platter was delicious. The crabmeat stuffed mushrooms were soggy and liquid filled though and the Cleveland oysters were overcooked and tough. Not the end of the world, we didn’t come for a Michelin dining experience, just to relax and enjoy the views. They had a guy playing live music on guitar about 15’ from our table and it wasn’t overpowering. Good vibes and good service.

We had a great time at Crabby’s! I was so happy to get a strawberry marg mocktail. Most restaurants aren’t inclusive to pregnant women so I was so happy to see many drinks options on the menu for me!

The food was good but the place appeared dirty. The light fixtures were covered in spiderwebs. Had I noticed this before we ordered I would have left. One of the light fixtures was just above the door the servers used to access the patio. I find it hard to believe this can go unnoticed.

Just okay - there are better seafood restaurants in Daytona Beach and elsewhere in Florida. Wait staff tried to upsell for one in our party - the French Fries for two people were cold. We do not recommend Crabby's, go somewhere else.

Thursday afternoon. Everything good. I must say the music entertainment next door at landshark sounded incredible. Awesome experience sitting here and listening to great music. I believe it was Andrew Elliott. Good afternoon at crabbys Daytona.

This was our first time here. The food was excellent, the service was amazing, and the views were beautiful. It was raining and windy, but we wanted to eat outside at one of the tables near the bar area. The bartenders/servers were absolutely wonderful and helpful. Some of the best service we’ve ever received. The ONLY issue we had was one of the bartenders/servers (taller lady of the two wearing the high socks) thought it was OK to cuss like a sailor when talking to us. In one brief conversation she dropped the F-bomb more times than I could count. She was a very nice lady, but not everyone wants to hear that kind of talk…bar area or not!

Crabby’s Oceanside is one of those spots that actually delivers on the “waterfront vibes” pitch. The view is the star: open-air, salty breeze, perfect people watching, and close enough to the beach that it feels like part of the day instead of a random detour. Service was friendly, efficient, and on top of refills without hovering. Food came out hot and fast, portions were solid, and everything tasted fresh, not like it had been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for its moment. Cocktails were strong enough to be worth the price, not pretend. Overall: casual, beachy, organized, and exactly where you want to land after a few hours in the sun. Would absolutely come back.
