Arrived and was greeted with a smile , the gentleman showed me a menu only cuz I mentioned my order was to go , but told him I’d like a drink while I waited , he personally escorted me to the bar where this waitress was ready to take my order . My girlfriends and I were excited to have a fun ladies’ night out after work and chose Dehlia Daytona Beach for Taco Tuesday. We were seated and given chips and salsa, but after that . . . Nothing!

We watched our server greet and take orders from several other tables who arrived after us, while completely ignoring ours. We waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgment, no drinks, and no order taken. It was clear we weren’t being treated with the same urgency or courtesy as the other guests. As women of color, this felt especially disheartening.

When we finally asked someone we believed to be our server, she claimed she wasn’t and that she would find the correct server. Turns out, she was our server all along. At that point, we made the decision as a group to leave due to the lack of hospitality, professionalism, and what we strongly feel was discriminatory behavior.

We came for tacos and good vibes. Instead, we left feeling dismissed and disrespected.

Our server Clara was PHENOMENAL!!! 😃 🙌

We asked for custom Mock-tail drinks and she gave us suggestions on the best flavors and what to put on the rim of the glass, and they were just simply amazing!!! Such a sweet, bright, and energetic personality she is!

The food was phenomenal too!!! The Garden Quesadilla, Cauliflower Tacos, and Queso for the Chips were truly out of this world! Will absolutely be back here and I highly recommend this place to everyone!
