Dick's Last Resort - Daytona Beach

Went yesterday to Dicks at Barefoot Landing. All of a sudden they are trying to be a “family venue”. Politically correct at Dicks is just wrong. The place is a filthy old dump. If you want to make it a Dave and Busters clean up the place! Also, the place is horribly expensive. $7.50 for a can of PBR! Are you kidding me!! Stay away!

I went to this location a week ago. No one at our table was brought a refilI even when asked for a to go cup. I made a Google review and the company requested I respond. Going on a week since I sent the email and there has still been no contact. Disappointing service from all aspects of this company. There was also no sarcasm used by our waiter until the end when checking out and mentioning politely, I would have enjoyed a refill l with my meal.

This was our first experience at the Myrtle Beach location and TK did not disappoint. She made our first visit the best! We will definitely be back because of her. She was an excellent waitress and we had a blast! If you go ask for TK she wont disappoint! The food was yummy too! If you are easily offended don't go because you will get Your feelings hurt. But if you have tough skin and can take a joke then go and have fun. We will definitely be back for TK!

Our server Tori was absolutely amazing. We went in with our 5 year old, knowing from past experiences the environment, she made it amazing for us visiting as a family. Pretty much all of what we wanted to order was not available, which was a super bummer. The kitchen also took quite a while, over a hour, to get the food out that we were able to order. We were very grateful to Tori for keeping our drinks full and our daughter entertained with games and pictures of her cats 😻 while we waited. Major shout outs to her for being able to do that.

The food was horrible and over priced. We couldn’t even finish our shrimp appetizer because it was engulfed in Aioli. I had the Chicken Tacos with Chicken Tenders in them instead of shredded chicken. Horrible. Not worth the money. This location at John’s Path won’t make it.

This is a fun place to visit where the waiters are rude on purpose. They write you a funny hat with something rude on it. I had the flounder nuggies and my boyfriend had their Ribs and Wings. Keep in mind, we went during the off season during the late afternoon, so probably didn't get the best chef and food quality, but the food was just good here. It wasn't great or spectacular. It was just decent food that met the standards of the dish names. Their wings were chewy, overcooked, and dry. The ribs were overcooked as well and a little tough, but seasoned well and had good sauce on them. The chili cheese fries were yummy, but I'd rather they serve the chili cheese more on the side and make the fries crispier so you can dip in them because the way they came, it made the French fries soggy after sitting in the sauce. My flounder nuggies were decently fried and the sauce they paired with tasted good. Service was excellent. All in all, this was just a decent place to eat, but there are much better places to eat in the area like the Charlie Horse restaurant or the Starlight dinner right across the street. I wouldn't visit this place again over my favorites.
