The only reason for the lower mark was the decor. I felt like I was in the 70's or 80's. If they up date the decor, they could actually raise prices a bit and be a knockout.

Barbara runs the place like a boss even at its busiest, treats you like family the moment you walk through those doors. Even though they weren’t doing pizza when we came in, she made the accommodation to make one for us! The chicken parm was excellent as well. They make their own sauce and it’s DIFFERENT and BETTER than any other marinara I’ve tasted. Love Don Vito’s, it’s a great spot for date night!
I rarely write reviews for restaurants, but this is the exception. The place is a hidden gem. The Capri salad was better than we had on the island of Capri. The bolognese pasta was incredible. And the Limoncello was beyond words. It was so good we ordered a second one. If you are in the Daytona area, you MUST stop in, order an amazing dinner, and chat with Barbara. We will be back! (would have posted a picture of the food, but it was too good to stop)

Appetizer sampler with mozzarella sticks, garlic knots and bruschetta. All great first time I ever liked bruschetta.Lasagna was greatBoscaiola was super, huge portions but we ate every last bit.Took cheesecake and limoncello cake to go and can’t wait to go back and try more dishes and especially the tiramisu! All home made and high quality healthy ingredients. Ate a ton and felt strong afterwards not sick.

Great food, will be back, every time we are in the area. We are back, this place is great. Just visited again a week ago, and will be going back next week. Just visited again to start the New Year, the chick parm and shrimp Marsalis is absolutely fabulous.
They really cut up microwave chicken nuggets and put it in my pasta and thought I wouldn’t notice lol
