Duff's Original Buffet

Fort Zachary Taylor was the best part of my key West experience. Excellent staff and well maintained State Park. Definitely worth the drive and very enjoyable family visit.

My family and I have been looking for a buffet style since we moved to Florida almost six years ago. So we were ecstatic to say the least when we found this online. When we got there we were greeted by the woman at the front desk and explained that we needed to wear masks. However you need to wear the masks and gloves and use hand sanitizer that is left out before you go to get your food and after you get your food. If you are sitting at the table and you are not eating they expect you to also put the mask on. The food who is every cold and had been sitting there for quite some time. The station that you would go to have the meat cut up for you oh, there was no one there we said excuse me a couple times we asked one of the waitresses. They just kept telling us to hit the Bell that was on the counter however, the Bell did not work. So we ended up cutting it ourselves which was very cold also. Between the drinks and the buffet it was $42 for two people. Are too expensive for a so-called Buffet where the food is cold, not great. The only good experience was the waitress that we had. She was phenomenal and went above and beyond.. We would definitely not ever go back and I don't recommend it either. Far too expensive or cold food that would taste better if a five-year-old made it.

Clean restaurant, reasonably priced, social distancing was in place, masks require to enter and at buffet bars, hand sanitizer and gloves were available at the buffet bar. Large variety of delicious food (liver and onion was spot on) and a cozy atmosphere. Love me some Duff's !!

Waited 45 minutes and we were third inline. The food was sub par. No one at the carving station. Most of the food was empty. All this for $35. Waitress screwed up drink order and never offered refill. I have been going to duffs since the days when the food was on a rotating buffett. Unless things change i wont be going back.

Food was good service was good but due to the pandemic mask are required while serving yourself food not a really big buffet and it was a little high 13 for adults on Sat and 7 for kids drinks not included

Went to the daytona location at 5:30 pm on July 5th they had already closed at 4:30 pm. We eat there on a pretty regular basis but wont be going back since this isn't the first time we have had this happen. There are too many others choices to waste time going there to find them closed

After reading the reviews we decided to try and it was a good buffet.. we love the variety of chicken they had.. the only thing i am confused is there was 7 of us 3 adult 4 kids. The total bill the first time was 73 when i check my bank they took 88. The second time it was 84 because it was dinner time the total was 84 plus tip 10 so 94. I seen the receipt it said 94 but when i check my bank again they charge 118. Am i missing something? Can somebody explain?

The food is great! The staff are friendly and attentive, I love the homey atmosphere with all the old time photos of Daytona.It's honestly my favorite place to eat in the area.

All the food was great. Taste like food my momma would make. Great service too.

The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because on holidays, the food is great. Worth the wait. On just an ordinary day you don't get what you do on holidays. And food was just so,so. And not a lot of it. Not worth the price.

If we could give this place a zero review we would! If you like trashy food this is the place to be! Most people who come here are obese! We spent $35 for 2 people, but we left and didn't even eat after we saw the quality of food. We lost 35.00 but that's okay than getting sick. We highly recommend Cheddar Scratch Kitchen for the same price, you'll get way much better quality food oh man it's incomparable!

Great food and service!!

This is a buffet style restaurant that offers many different meats, veggies and starches. Along with this they also have many different dessert choices. While the food is tasteful not everything was as hot as it should have been in my opinion. I did have chicken and vegetables. The chicken was very moist and tender. The only bad thing is, I ate way too much. Family members enjoyed it as well.

The food is very good for a buffet restaurant. Steak, fried fish, baked fish and ribs were all very good. Fried green tomatoes were kind of greasy. Buffet was replenished quite often and server was nicely attentive.
