Actually didn’t eat there Saturday. Looked forward to it and walked in around around noon. Place was dark with music playing. There was what I assume would have been a good station to the left where you pick your topping or whatever that was empty. Walked up to counter and girl didn’t acknowledge us until we asked if they were open. She was sitting in a chair out of sight. I asked did they have everything on the menu and she said yes we are basically a potato place and you add stuff. Bad vibe, we left.

Divine. My boyfriend and I absolutely tore this food up. Everything is cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I had a long nap after eating that giant loaded potato. Will be back!

Food was alright. Waited 35 mins for 2 kids meals and cheese fries. Not one person updated me on wait times and why time was so long.

There was (still is, barely) a chain of baked potato restaurants in the UK called Spudulike.
I was hoping Fat Boi would be like this, but unfortunately it wasn't quite as good.
That being said, my last meal at a Spudulike was probably the very early 1990s, so I may be viewing it through rose tinted glasses.
All I'm saying is, buy a can of Batchelors baked beans (has to be British style baked beans) and a block of decent cheddar, bake a potato in the oven so the skin's all crispy, split your spud, add plenty of butter and salt, and top with warmed beans and lots of grated cheese.
That is heaven on a plate, right there.
The Fat Boi experience was of a soggy potato that tasted weirdly of something close to rancid grease, this drowning out the chicken and mushroom filling.
I can't help feeling they missed a trick, overall.
