Love this place quick in and out.. Food is great on the fly
Always fresh. Always friendly. Always economical. Most times, fast. The only place along Dunn Ave I'll still go to without apprehension.
For this place to be hip-hop chicken and seafood them fries was real CMT, no salt at all no flavor
Lunch every day for a week
Best chicken livers.
Fried chicken wings had no flavor, whatsoever. They were just a waste of money and calories. The French fries were soggy and also had not flavor. The hush puppies were very good!
Couldn’t find a chicken liver restaurant anywhere. Finally found Hip Hop and my husband who has been craving livers absolutely LOVED them and the serving size was enough for at least two meals! He said the fried okra was amazing too! We will be back! The young girl at the window was very kind.
I didn't eat the food; It was ordered for other people. However, I was very impressed with the GREAT customer service provided by the young woman at the drive-thru on Wednesday, May 7th at around 12:30 pm. Excellent job dealing with my questions, indecision, and overall bumbling.
Rude people
I come to this place faithfully and alway have been a fan since day one practically waited till their doors open on their grand opening day. Now fast fwd to Today! I ordered three lunch specials with one being a gizzard plate, chicken wing plate and a tender plate. My mom ordered gizzards and not even ten minutes later she got sick and started pooping everywhere couldn’t even make it to the toilet. I’m bothered because I called to express my concern. I called and got an answer asked to speak with a manager and was told I was speaking to him and it was a LIE! After I was done explaining all that happened the so called manager said he will have the manager call me back. After you just said you were. I don’t like that because you can’t get an attitude about someone expressing their concerns. Not professional at all at least not today!

Hip Hop Chicken and Seafood Review | Best Shrimp, Wings, and Gizzards in Town!
If you’re looking for your next favorite spot for mouthwatering seafood and crispy wings, Hip Hop Chicken and Seafood is an absolute must-visit! My family and I recently stopped by, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
I ordered the shrimp and gizzards combo, and it completely blew me away. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and juicy, while the gizzards were crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. My daughter had the jumbo shrimp, and let me tell you—those shrimp lived up to their name! They were huge, delicious, and fried to golden perfection.
We also couldn’t resist trying the shrimp and wings combo and the oysters and wings combo. Both were incredible! The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in a delicious seasoning that kept us coming back for more. The oysters were fresh, plump, and perfectly fried—some of the best I’ve had locally.
The atmosphere at Hip Hop Chicken and Seafood was welcoming and lively, with great music and fast, friendly service. Whether you’re craving seafood, chicken, or both, this spot has something for everyone.
If you’re searching for the best shrimp, wings, oysters, and gizzards in town, make sure to stop by Hip Hop Chicken and Seafood—you won’t be disappointed! Perfect for family meals, takeout nights, or satisfying your seafood cravings.
Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back soon!
Much to expensive, especially for what you got. Took to long at drive thru to get your food in my opinion
Why don't we have more places like this ? Just frying up some fish, shrimp and other delicious stuff ! No rice, no bread no salad.
Tons of choices the menu is huge so..... everyone will be happy.
Delicious!
The food was so good. It was hot, fresh and cooked to order. I enjoyed it immensely. I went to the Orange Avenue location.
