The gentleman (I’m assuming the boss/MOD/owner) did nothing but berate his employees the entire time I was in the building picking up my order. Everyone looked as if they were trapped in an awful situation! I felt so badly for the employees. The smell of old oil hits you when you first enter the building and makes you question what you order. The food was okay… nothing to write home about… and certainly not worth watching the employees be disrespected, under appreciated and treated poorly. The most ironic part is that they all wore shirts that said BE KIND on the left side of their backs… I don’t think the manager/owner is capable of this! I will not be recommending this establishment to any family/friends/coworkers!

Little sandwich shop on a busy section of Mason Ave. Not much atmosphere on the inside. Make all types of deli sandwiches and subs. I went with the corn beef and pastrami on marble rye with side of macaroni salad. Everything was fine tasting but really nothing noteworthy.

Disgusting. We order to our job sometimes and about year ago they were great but now all the sudden the prices are always wrong and have gone up and the food is always horrible. Cold fries, never have steak fries anymore and little portion. This place used to be great..a real shame..

This place is a hidden gem! I've been on twice and had a delicious corn beef sandwich. It was delicious and loaded with fresh corn beef. Their zucchini fries are THE BEST I've ever had! I will definitely be back and highly recommend them. Marcus and his staff are friendly and professional!

Got a veggie sub and it sucked a*** Only redeeming quality is the bread and amount of veggies they gave me. It was soggy, flavorless, and unseasoned. They put way too many mushrooms on it and not enough cheese to even put it out.

I have been to Jack and Lu's a number of times over the past few years and it has never disappointed. We had cheesesteaks and fries. The cheesesteaks were excellent, plenty of steak and cheese along with ripe tomatoes and fresh lettuce. The sub rolls were soft and fresh, like they came from the bakery that morning. The fries were hot and tasty. Also had the sweet tea which was homemade, fresh and tasted great. The service was fast and everyone there was friendly. Would highly recommend.
