I thought I would try the new toasted sandwich....not at all impressed...not sure how it was done since I had it delivered...but the bread was way over toasted and barely any meat. Now I am very familiar with JJs...my son was a manager of one in Texas. I think they need to stick with the original sandwich style and leave the toasting alone.

My husband & I visit here frequently, Every time we come in max is the only one here. Through busy times and slower days. We demand max a raise! Our food is always correct and he is very polite! Today we came in for lunch on a Saturday at 12pm! This is the busiest I’ve ever seen any JJ & of course max is alone and kicking ass! Max handled rush like a champ even the grumpy snow birds ! Give max a raise & some help !!

Great service, upon entry It was a friendly greeting. I found decision making wasn't complicated at all. Instead it was simplicity. It was Not a 100 different items on their menu. Rather it was a limited menu which was good easy to read understand and differentiate items easily with the photos of their meals. Food was cooked fresh and hot. Great tasting food. Was not overpriced at all. Atmosphere could use some spicying up.lol

I ordered from the app at the Ridgewood location….. tracked my order all the way to “delivered”. I never received my order so I called. The person who did not give their name, said there was nothing he could do I had to contact the app 🤷‍♀️. I was charged for the order so I called the international speedway location and spoke to the manager, who addressed himself as Steven. He said to come right in and show my order and that it was paid for and made my sandwich. No problem. What a great experience after having a not so great one with ridgewood. He was so kind and accommodating. Ten out of ten recommend if you want Jimmy John’s the ONLY store to go to is the one on international!!!!

Don’t go if you care about the people making your food.

I recently noticed the ability to tip on credit card purchases was turned off. After asking the staff about it I was told this was a managerial decision. The staff at this location have always been incredibly friendly and professional. In the many times I’ve stopped by I’ve never once received a wrong order or had any issues. Taking away the ability for customers to show their appreciation for the staff is so wrong. In a world using less and less cash how can management expect their employees to receive any substantial compensation for their performance? The workers here deserve all the tips they earn. And as someone who works in the service industry and relies on tips themselves it’s bewildering that management would choose to impact their employees tips like this. Absolutely disgusted. If this type of treatment is common for their employees I’d stay away. As if a job doesn’t care about their employees enough to not arbitrarily retract their ability to collect tips then employees won’t care about their job enough to do it.
