We went here for our first dinner in Daytona. Food was overcooked, and services was ok to start but our server acted irrated when we ask for anything. Even raised her voice at one point. I mean we are paying customer's 🤷 payed way to much for overcooked seafood with a attitude. I will say the rooftop bar area was very nice and service was better there.
While the food was phenomenal, Larry was the best part of the experience. He anticipated our needs before we even asked for anything. I run a virtual call center and this is Waldorf Astoria type service - anticipatory service. He is an absolute GEM.
The food was good but not outstanding, however.. I would return here in a heartbeat just for our server Kevin. He was the nicest, most hardworking server. The restaurant was busy and seems like he was the only server they had, had plenty of tables but he would take the time to check on us and would go out of his way to make us feel appreciated. I would come back to Joe’s just for Kevin, he rocks and made our entire more enjoyable.
