Great lunch spot. Food is always good, service is fast. The quality and quantity of food is well worth the low cost. Eat here couple times a month. Kinda surprised it doesn’t get busier.

We attended a company Christmas party. The food was good, the decor passable.

If I could give Malcolm's Bar and Grill less than one star I would. I can't imagine who came up with this new menu but it is absolutely horrendous! If you are looking for a quick bite or lunch it might be just ok; however if you are looking for a nice dinner....forget it...stay away! The food was terrible! Not to mention the price for what they have to offer in addition to an automatic 20% percent service charge that does not include the server's tip. The server was very nice; however we sat outside and all the tables were dirty as well as the floor looked like it hadn't been swept for days. We always enjoyed going here, but unless something changes we won't be back!

Food and beer is good. Service is not great. Hours are inconsistent. They charge 18% service charge that doesn't go to waiters/waitresses and so they expect you to tip on top of it. Things that would make it better: Consistent, published hours. No more service charge.
See my lengthy post on the disgrace they have made of the prime rib buffet. This used to be the best in town
Don't waste your time. We used to go faithfully for years and were excited to return. We made a reservation Sat and when we arrived stood there for 15 minutes and was not greeted by any employee no hostess or Manager were there. After Finally getting the bartenders attention who was ignoring us were told to sit anywhere. Another 20 minutes numerous servers walked by and no one would even acknowledge us. I went up To check out the food. The salad was empty veggies were overcooked, as was the potatoes which hadn't even been wrapped in foil. And the prime was old and nasty. After going back to table we still hadn’t been even greeted and we left at 7:15 45 minutes after our reservation
Worst Experience I have ever had at a restaurant on a holiday EVER. Will NEVER go back and I suggest people stay away on a holiday. So EXTREMELY disappointed. They were rude and insulted all of us.
My gal and I went to Malcolms for Thanksgiving Buffet and it was OUTSTANDING. I found out the Chef and Sous Chef were both soul brothers and all the food prepared was the best 'soul food' buffet I have ever eaten. I am a former Chef myself and I was highly impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. The Bruschetta had perfect crustines and a wonderful topping. The Butternut Squash Bisque was the best Bisque I have ever had. Braised Short Beef Ribs cooked perfectly in a rich au jus. The salmon was great and the turkey too. Oh, and ham. Everything done in house. The only sourced item was the pumpkin pie I think. The bread pudding was a little dense but had flavor. The staff held their own and Tara and Emily were very attentive. Any time they have a buffet I will be there. Haven't ever tried their regular menu but I WILL BE BACK! Oh, and Emily made me the best Old Fashion I have ever had mmmmmmmm.
The clubhouse restaurant is open to the public! Great spot! Definitely worth checking it out!

Malcolm's Bar and Grill on the LPGA Golf Course in Daytona Beach is an absolute gem. The rib eye steak is cooked to perfection, offering a rich, juicy flavor that’s hard to beat. The fresh sauces and salad dressings add a distinct and delightful taste to every dish. Since the change in management, the food has become even more fresh and delicious, enhancing the inviting atmosphere of the place. The super friendly staff is a testament to the new management’s focus on quality and service. Kudos to them for introducing fun new events and educational dinner themes that showcase their deep dive into diverse cuisines. A truly stellar dining experience!

Had a wonderful ribeye and the freshest of strawberry salad...with a chocolate vinagerette, need I say more? CHEF's KISS
Our waiter was taking inventory and no one else would take our order. When we finally ordered and the food came, it was a disaster. One melt was burnt and not even cut, quesadillas was too salty and three chicken salads were so dry they could hardly be eaten. Iced tea was flavored water. The manager made NO effort to rectify the situation and did not offer to make anything good. She had a very bad attitude and said other people had no pay. She never said sorry. We will NOT be back
