There is literally nothing bad I can say about this restaurant. The foods was delicious..drinks so good..service was top notch! Our server was Jayden and he was so awesome! The music was so good and the vibe was HOT! 100% recommend. Don't think twice.

My family and I visited Mamá Foo Foo on a Saturday after seeing their advertisement for a Latin Night experience. We drove in from different cities (Orlando and Tampa), and we were excited to have dinner and then enjoy music and dancing afterward.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, it has a great vibe, unique décor, and a nice view overlooking the bay. The atmosphere definitely has potential.
However, the experience fell short in several areas. The menu was limited because several items were unavailable, and the food we were able to order was unfortunately not very good. My brother in law also tried ordering a beer, and they didn’t have any, which was surprising for a restaurant/lounge environment.
After dinner, we were looking forward to Latin music as advertised, since that was the reason we chose this location. But the DJ mostly played hip-hop and only put on one Latin song here and there when requested, before switching back again. It felt inconsistent and very different from what was promoted.
The place truly has potential, beautiful space, great location, and a fun concept, but it seems like there are issues with management, inventory, and consistency between what is advertised and what is actually offered.
Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the lack of menu options, the quality of the food, and the misleading Latin Night experience made the visit disappointing.

Hands down the coolest place in Daytona Beach. Beautiful location on the marina, great food options, but the decor & vibe are the star of the show. Check it out - you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to sit in Cole’s section. He is one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. Very knowledgeable about the menu, and not afraid to share his honest opinions. Not to mention he is hilarious.

This place is good as a photo spot and some good drinks. They do have unique drinks and a pretty venue but aside from that, the restaurant is poorly ran. There is no communication from leadership to management. There is no such thing as a “chef” at this restaurant so if you call trying to get ahold of a chef then don’t bank on talking to an actual chef. Do not go in a busy night because you might not get your food for 2 hours. The dishes are mediocre and they are constantly running out of items and buying supplies from GFS and selling them for “higher end” prices. Also debauchery is completely allowed as a server so if you’re into that then you’re probably hired. This company does not mind poor decisions but they do mind if you ask for tables and want to pay your bills. Morgan is the most unprofessional manager I have ever encountered. This place does not appreciate servers who actually do their job when they are at work or who provide the service that is supposed to meet “mama foo foo” standards. You’ll see my name lots in these reviews if you go through, but that does not matter to this company for once again it is poorly ran. Enjoy your refreshing cocktails and your wine dipped cheese bread and “prime” skirt steak on a two hour wait.

From the warm welcoming smile from Jada who took care of me while I waited on my friends that were running late. To Morgan and Jada helping us make a new friend through a random act of kindness. Cole kept everyone laughing. I would definitely go back because of Jada.

Every cocktail was perfection, and the service felt like hanging out with an old friend who happens to be a mixology pro.

Came here for the pre dia de Los muertos party on 11/01. Our server Bobby was amazing. He was efficient, friendly, and prompt. The food is mid for the price but definitely unlike other food options. Drinks are alright but the bartenders seem unable to keep up with craft cocktails during any sort of volume. I had to go to the car to get my medication and the security guard said his boss wouldn’t allow me or my friend back in without really any explanation. My phone and wallet were still on the table with the rest of our friends inside and they wouldn’t even allow us to grab those. This place wants to be a high end dinner spot but just falls on its face with lack of quality, communication, and standards.

I’m not sure who the blonde girl was behind the inside bar on halloween night, but she needs to be removed, almost immediately. After 25 minutes of being looked at, not being served on a busy night, i witnessed the bartender taking shots, she was having a good night. She greeted me & i told her i wanted the free shots, i tried to hand her the two tickets. no one at the door clarified what type of shot, we asked and they said ANY TYPE OF SHOT, and she said “let meee see yourrr ID” slurring her words & when i tell you she had the biggest pupils, they were out of her eyes. she looked at my ID twice, looked at me, and slowly handed my ID back.
She came back with the shots after another 15 minutes of going outside, talking to friends, hugging a man? I handed the coupons over again & she screams “THAT DOESNT COVER IT.” I said my bad, they didn’t clarify - so i don’t want these, what do they cover. She blankly starred into my soul, picked up one shot and gave it to someone on the other end of the bar. When she came back after another 10 minutes, she asked me if i was going to pay for the shots… No, i’m not going to pay for something you just gave away. She responded with “IM PAYINNNG FOR THATTT WITH MY OWNNNN MONEY. THATSSSS MY BESSSTTT FRIEND.” absolute blank stare, no soul behind her eyes, it was definitely more than alcohol running behind her eyes.. it was scary. she then grabbed the other shot and gave it to the manager i presume? Anyways, my whole party unfortunately had her as a server & she didn’t ask for payment from half my group. my group of 15.
