My husband and I stopped in for the first time today. We ordered the beef, cheese and sweet plantain, one tripleta empanadas and alcapurrias as well as the dessert coquito cheesecake and traditional guava and cheese empanadas. The alcapurrias are amongst the best we have had here in Florida. Can’t wait to go back again! Also the guava juice tasted fresh and delicious as well. We rate everything 10/10 ⭐️
I tried out Melina's Empanadas off Rt. 100 today. It's an attractive place, family friendly, very welcoming and run by a very nice couple. Location is off Rt 100 across from WNZF Radio (not on the main drag, but in the building behind). I brought home three empanadas to try: Chicken, Beef and Cheese, and Strawberry Cheesecake, plus a side of sweet plantains. Prices are reasonable and everything is homemade. the empanadas are definitely the best I've had locally....
