Great little bar that's not stingy with the alcohol. The prices are awesome too. Stopped here with my husband for a night cap, and it was so much better ( & cheaper) than the hotel bar. Their are also game machines, pool tables, multiple tvs and great music playing. I'm so glad we stopped here!

Stopped here at the lounge after a local recommended Metz as a place to get good cocktails and a great price. He was spot on. Local bar scene with smoke in the air and a pool hall, nothing to look at but it does have some tvs with sports on. Waitress was very friendly and my Jack&Coke was stiff, wife had a screwdriver and she was pleased. Both drinks were under $10. Come on! Our drinks at the hotel bar were twice as much and were watered down. If you want the local bar scene with great cocktails without breaking the bank, this is it.

Prices are great! Known for their generous pour. Beer prices are the best on the beach. Very friendly and personable service. However, the atmosphere is dark, dingy and depressing.

The only reason I give this bar 1 star is because of the regulars. They’re so nice and welcoming and I’ve had the best time with them. However, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights they have a bar tender named Emma that is beyond rude and frankly unqualified to even run a bar. She’s slow. She doesn’t pay attention. She’s wasted behind the bar. She’s on her phone most of the time and she generally has no idea what’s going on around her. Tonight I walked into the bar with maybe 6-8 people in it, is that enough to even sustain the costs of running a bar? Well I hope so because I walked in with 3 more people and I went to order drinks for all 3 of us. Apparently, she didn’t like the previous tips that one of the people I was with had left her in the past, so she turned the music off and “ANNOUNCED” to the entire bar that she would not be serving us and that the guy I was with needed to leave. I asked why, told her she was only going to have 1 tab - mine and she told me she didn’t care and I could get out and “have a good night”. I asked her if the owner is fine with her just turning customers away for no reason and she said “he only cares about what I want”. So… this will definitely be my last visit here which is sad because I really did love the people I met here. But a bad bartender that expects amazing tips is running this place I guess so I’d suggest finding somewhere else.

First of all Metz is like Cheers! The patrons and bartenders care about each other. The drinks are reasonably priced and you can’t beat it. Emma, Christine, Alison and Gloria are the best. I highly recommend this bar if you’re visiting or live close by!

Metz 1 is great, I’ve been going there for months. You can smoke inside, and the drinks are stiff. The night bartender that works Fri-Mon will def over serve you. I’ve seen the ambulance show up for people that are too intoxicated. The regulars can drink as much as they can, before passing out. There is zero responsibility on her part.. She will even take you out to her car parked in front, give you, and smoke Marijuana with you…and also being highly intoxicated by the end of the night. The owners are obviously oblivious to all of this. The owners kid is usually there (or most recently Metz 2) also, highly intoxicated. I have photos and texts to back up my comments. So go in there at your own accord.
