Very quick service but be mindful when eating here. I noticed the chicken was chewy and unusual. When I got home I cut open all the pieces and they had a light pink tint but it looked done. I then refried it to make sure the chicken was white... Never turned white... All of it just hard and pink. Believe me I'm not usually picky but that's a no for me.

I have been eating Chinese food my whole life. I grew up in New York City. When I moved to Daytona Beach, I could not find a good Chinese restaurant. I tried this place tonight and found the food was not cooked well and did not taste good. It did not taste like Chinese food. The place is dirty and poorly maintained. I was disappointed. I'll have to find somewhere else because this was not good. I ordered over the phone and should have checked the place out before I ordered over the phone.

This was my first time going to New China King and it was very good. I was in a bit of a time crunch between classes but it was no problem for this place. The lady saw me quick and came over and asked what I’d like. I just got a chicken fried rice and she said it would be about 10 min. which was perfect. I left for ~12 min and came back in and she had it ready and packed for me. Overall it was great. Understandably, some reviews about the lady come across negatively but you can tell she is focused and is a hard worker. Personally, I will be coming back again since the prices, food and service overall were great.

Good Chinese takeout. The bad reviews are 90% about customer service. If you grew up in any city you know it’s not personal. They rush you to order, then hang up before you say “thank you”. These people work hard making orders non stop some parts of the day. Just enjoy.

Lady on phone is just outright rude quick to take order but won’t answer questions about items on the menu when I tried to add an item to my order she hung up I called back and said you didn’t even asked my name for the order she said omg I have your phone number and hung up again very rude not sure if I will order from them again let’s see how good taste

I placed an order over the phone for pickup. Chicken & broccoli with white rice (combo)x2I uploaded a photo below of what I received. I didn’t know there was a plain chicken and broccoli option. Definitely a no no! I tossed both meals in the trash. Food cost over $25 bucks after tips. Also she forgot to include my soda for both meals.The issues is I can barely understand the lady over the phone so who know if she misunderstood me or vice versa. I haven’t been back since.

Terrible customer service...When ordering "beef" there's ALWAYS, only 6 little bites, the rest is vegetables... i.e. "curry-beef-onions"... and yes, I can tolerate hot... BUT, it was too hot!
