Oceanview Terrace Bar And Grill

I recently stayed at the Marriott Oceanfront and was disappointed with my experience. I booked an oceanfront room but was assigned to the second floor, next to a construction fence. The front desk staff was not very helpful and informed me that no other rooms were available. It was frustrating to feel like I received the least desirable room because I booked through a third-party site.

While the location is beautiful, the noise and view restrictions made it hard to enjoy my stay fully. I can’t recommend this hotel if you value a better room experience—booking through third-party sites seems to put you at a disadvantage. Consider verifying reservations directly with the hotel to avoid similar disappointments.

We decided to stop here after our hotel didn't have a restaurant. It was quiet, and secluded. I wouldn't call anything on the menu spectacular, but it was hot and fresh.

The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

The food was cooked to order and all was very good.

Fantastic river view. We were there during and after the sunset. Good menu selections including beef, chicken, and fish. Escargot was delish!

Ok so was happy with the menu online get there totally different menu. Took forever to get service,drinks,food, even napkins and silverware. For a Marriott hotel we were very disappointed! Service for restaurant was no sense of ingercy you would expect to get better service with this 4.5 star hotel! We asked about our salads because we wanted them first server said they were coming but when they came out they didn't bring all of them. Took forever get our food! Then food was cold and over cooked! We asked about the shrimp tempura and she said the the menu is wrong and did want to deal with the complaint so she walked away. Asked for manager she came out we explained our concerns about everything and she completely compted our meal told manager we needed our checks for our alcohol drink they never came so we threw cash on table and left!! One of the biggest rock weekend and they were on a snail movement scale!!!

Most the things you see on the online menu is not available, food was about as basic as it gets. Drinks are over priced for how simple and bad they are. Beer selection is the worse possible. Waitress was not happy to be there but also seemed like the only one available so makes sense. Don’t go here expecting anything more than very sub par and over priced for what it is.

Stayed here for one night for a quick getaway, and I must say, the bar tender, John, made it an unforgettable experience. John is the best! From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. His excellent service and fun personality truly stood out. John not only crafted delicious drinks but also created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. If you're looking for a great time and top-notch service, make sure to visit John at the bar. Highly recommended!

Food was fantastic at reasonable pricing. The service was great. Was taken care of the whole time with timley refills and check ins to make sure we were doing alright. The outside dining area is very pretty and serene. Definitely a great place to stop for any meal of the day!

Wait here on a Thursday night group of eight. Service was great. Food was great. Good drinks looking out over the ocean. Ate here here the second night, restaurant was not busy, but took forever to get a drink, water and even worse for the food order. Well over an hour for a BLT my shrimp pasta had no flavor whatsoever after being very good the night before just took way too long for food to come out, or the drinks for that matter.

Great hosts and service. Awesome they have Halal options and Creekstone beef and steaks. Good on all around. Can't beat the view, even though as of August 2023 the full access to the Beach is still being repaired.

the shrimp taco shells tasted like they were old, needed to be heated more. food was average. For the price point, a little much for a basic menu and average service.
