Ponchos Tacos & Mexican Ice Cream | Daytona Beach

Thanks as always for the delicious food… we finally made it back to Ponchos in November 2025… last time we had Ponchos was in August 2022 and July 2021… we love coming back here when we are in Florida!!! Super delicious and authentic

We had excellent chips, salsa, shredded chicken taco. My husband had the huarrache. Tons of food. Best Mexican we have ever had. Thank you!!

Great food, but pricing seems to be off a bit. The prices are similar to a nicer sitdown, but this place isnt a nice sitdown at all. The horchata was $7, which is ridiculous, and for 3 tacos it was $15. Usually you’d expect these kind of prices with good service and atmosphere, but the waiter just seemed to have an attitude, and the atmosphere was that of a cheap diner.

This place was awesome. My wife found it on Tik Tok and we were in town and decided to try it. We are glad we did. The food is authentic and the service was great. We definitely put this on our got to go back to list.

This was the worse synthetic Mexican food I’ve ever experienced. First off no greeting, showed she didn’t want to be bothered. Empty restaurant, one hour and a half before close. They don’t have salsa verde. My order happened to be incorrect no sides. 5 bucks a street taco. Still had to go buy food for dinner. I just was some authentic street tacos da asada.

Considering the fact that there isn't many Mexican options in the area, this fit the bill.

The shrimp fajita burrito was excellent. So flavorful and delicious, plus it's huge! Get this and thank me later.
