Was waiting 25 minutes for a small hot black coffee, had to leave and tell them to not worry about making my order. It shouldn’t take that long to tip a spout for 3 seconds especially when your employees are standing around idle. Waste of time and money.

I feel discriminated here… 😣 usually the student staffs are very friendly until today…

Upon ordering my first drink I already feel the bad attitude from the barista who made my drink, I gave her smiling face trying to be nice to her but her facial expressions still not looking good…

After staying for sometime I finished my drink and ask for a “refill”. This is a generous Starbucks policy that no matter what kind of the drinks customer ordered, if they stay in the store, they can refill for “blend” hot/cold coffee/tea (not handcraft drinks).

And that barista just came up to me and used a bad voice tone and bad facial expressions saying I can’t get refill because I ordered coffee latte (which I didn’t)

The barista made me feel discriminated and like I was at fault by asking refill (which is the Starbucks policy and I usually do that since I go to Starbucks almost everyday for study).

Gladly the manger came out and explain nicely the reason that refill is not working in this Starbucks since it’s inside the university. (But it does work in other stores)

I used to be a Starbucks barista in other country and ordering Starbucks around the world, this kind of discrimination expression I’ve never experienced anywhere else but here in Embry Riddle with a student…

I really hope people can be nice to each other and be kind, I don’t know you and you don’t know me, why having that bad reaction while first time interacting with a customer? And why not listening to others but just insist your own opinion and look down on others? I really feel sad about this kind of attitude of people here in the U.S.

To avoid discrimination and bias should be taught and educated well here in U.S. no?

The best Starbucks around. The weekday morning crew are some of the nicest, genuine people you’ll ever meet. Even when it’s super busy, there’s hardly ever a wait in the morning. Theresa has been there for many years and has built such a good relationship with so many people, including me for 9 years now. Always such good energy to help start off your day.

This semester I've ordered a hot chocolate WITHOUT whipped cream through the starship app 9 times. 6/9 times, they have added whipped cream. When I tell them that they accidentally put whipped cream, they seem frustrated and all they do is scoop out the whipped cream. There is still whipped cream that they miss so I have to throw out the drink. When you pay the equivalent of a meal plan (9$) you deserve to get what you order. Please let Theresia (the woman) know to pay attention to the exact starship order. Sometimes it differs from what people normally order.

This place needs to get it together. It amazes me how the workers are so incompetent, yet they still keep their jobs. I bought an oatmeal from here. All they gave me was a bag of blueberries, nuts, syrup, and brown sugar. They didn’t even include the actual oatmeal. It’s ridiculous. 70% of the staff should be fired from this location.

This location has unfortunately become a mess. The employees are nice but they are set up for failure. I normally mobile order 20 minutes before arriving to time my arrival with the estimated completion time. When I arrived today, I waited an additional 15 minutes after the estimated time and had to leave because this store was so overwhelmed and could not make my order. They also oversold one of my food times that the app said was available. Now I’m late and have to start my day without coffee :(

This is disappointingly the fifth or sixth time I’ve needed to leave this location empty handed. Unfortunately the only solution Starbucks provides for a refund is standing in the line which is out the door most mornings.

Parking: Awful. The drive through line is so backed up you’ll get stuck in the parking lot.

5 stars are going to Theresa! The warmth she adds up to this coffee shop really stands out !!! She always welcomes any student and me with the smile, remembers everyone by name, she makes this place special by her extraordinary acts of kindness and customer service skills! If I would work for National TV i would invite Theresa for an interview to share the tools with other people of how be nice to people and bring the light into the darkest room! This coffee cup was customised by her - i got it from her today, what a wonderful surprise! Round of applause from all of us, studying at ERAU.
