We love this old-fashioned diner and have been going there for years. It's a hit-and-miss cooking, but that's just like home. The servers are always great and happy to serve you. We have had almost everything on the menu, and their pies are huge and amazing. Their ice cream desserts are awesome. You will not be sorry to go there???????

I am so glad I found Starlite!! The food is amazing, the decor is so cute and everyone is so nice! The waitresses were friendly and gave recommendations on things in the area. Seriously the best waffles ever!!

This building needs to focus cleaning more and realize everybody is talking loud because the volume on the music is too high waitresses don't pay attention to female customers. Food is average. My coffee smell like sour milk.

Service is great. Fast and friendly. Highly recommend the grits and waffle. Light and fluffy. It's nice they have long-term employees to build friendships with. We usually eat here 2-3 times a month.

Those of you following me know it’s been a while since I’ve given 5 across the board. Here we go. First the place was very clean, we waited less than a minute for a table, Mina is not Meena, (ask for her) our breakfast was very quick to the table and they had Taylor Ham/Pork Roll so a little bit better. The service from Mina was EXCELLENT. On the way out paying the bill she brought me a drink to go and didn’t even ask, come on when was the last time that happened,”. If you’re in Daytona Beach or even close stop in the Star Lite Diner and ask for Mina. ??

First experience of an American diner, it was okay but really just okay. Staff were friendly but average food (had eggs served in half a bowl of water? the pancakes were the best part) and ants crawling over the table, unhygienic

Fun local classic diner experience! Very good cheese grits! Good biscuits and gravy taste wise but gravy was a bit thin. Lots of breakfast options and large portions! Dive in size coffee mug and tasted great! Friendly, helpful personnel! Area can be sketchy overnight or early morning but staff helped manage random persons very well! Close to Daytona Grande Resort and Convention Center. Parking in back.
