I waited about 30 minutes to get my order at the drive-thru, even though there was no line. It was the worst drive-thru experience I’ve ever had. If you have a lot of time to waste, this is the place for you.

I have a closer location in Ormond Beach, but this location by the aquarium in Daytona always offers higher quality. The service is usually pretty quick, and I've never received my order wrong from this location.

We call it the drive thru for a reason not the hold a conversation drive thru bc this lady wanna talk and talk while the person had already got there order. Listen I know u might think the pretty and all butttt get there number next time it will last longer. K cool bc it’s to late at night for u to not be doing your job

Always been a fan of these restaurants when I visit the south! But this dining experience was notable watching Tonny the manger run an amazing dining room and provide great customer service to other patrons.

They cook the fries and beef tallow so they are gluten free but they cook them with the onion rings so they're not gluten free.

45 mins for two burgers and two fries Saturday March 7th 2026. Three no show employees according to staff but the drive thru was taken care of. Stopped the week before same wait times. Go somewhere else if you are hungry or expect to eat quickly.

I dont know whay in my whole life I never eat in this place simply loved , great hamburger and offcourse the best milk shakes ever im impressed 100% recommend see yaa soon

I’m extremely disappointed and feel obligated to warn others.

If you don’t eat pork, think twice before visiting Steak ’n Shake. I personally watched staff cook beef patties on the flat top, then cook bacon in the same spot. After removing the bacon, they continued cooking more beef in that exact area without cleaning or sanitizing the surface.

As someone who has worked in restaurants and served as a general manager, I understand proper food safety and cross-contamination protocols. Not everyone consumes pork for religious, health, or personal reasons, and this level of disregard for customer trust is unacceptable.

If this is standard procedure, it needs immediate correction.
