Barbara said it so correct, Fayetta was a huge asset to this little Cafe. She always was so friendly and so many people enjoyed her smile at 5:30 AM and on..New Management fired her!! ..WT*??

The nastiest woman ever at the counter, don’t know if she was a SUPPOSED manager or what but her RUDE BEHAVIOR over a penny was ridiculous!!!! I now understand why people traveling go ballistic! Guaranteed won’t go here again!

What a delightful food stop in the airport! Fayetta took myOrder and was full of joy. She treated each customer as they were her dear friend. She is an asset to the cafe and I do hope she is recognized for it.

KUDOS times 100 to Fred and Izabel for going OVER-and-ABOVE in customer service!!! The Bar, Cafe, and News/Gifts Shop close at 2:00 pm and reopening at 4:00 pm so employees could have lunch and restock inventory. We arrived a few minutes after 2:00 pm, even though the gates were closed Izabel served us food and Fred opened the News/Gifts Shop so my wife could get the chips she wanted. As a business consultant, over the past 30 years I have worked with hundreds of retailers on Improving Customer Experience / Increasing Customer & Employee Satisfaction. Today, Fred and Izabel created that "WOW Experience" that makes customers for life!

Looked forward to eating here since the new owners took over. Beautiful building and atmosphere. Two of us ordered pancakes and two eggs which you have to cook yourself. The pancakes are heavy and have a cornmeal texture. Our other person had a very skimpy Cuban sandwich and Chip with Chili which is a bowl of Doritos with chili on top. We had to wait quite a while for our server to appear, who apologized that they were short staffed. Once the food was delivered, she never came back or refilled our drinks. Be aware that they tack on an 18% gratuity.

Visited for lunch last Friday with wife, daughter and 3 and 4 year old grandchildren. Was seated immediately on arrival. Waitress brought menus and then we waited. It appeared that there was ample staff to serve everyone. Finally got servers attention and ordered. Thirty minutes after our arrival we received our first pitcher of batter. Server then turned on grille. Made our first pancakes. They were ok. Still had not received my coffee. When I received my coffee, we requested some buckwheat batter. 20 minutes later it arrived. Needless to say the grandchildren had lost interest. No coffee refill. Had to request our bill. It was accurate except an 18% gratuity was added. The receipt said it would be added for parties of 1 or more. I questioned the gratuity but was told that new managent had instituted the policy but it was really for parties of 4 or more. I didn't feel that a 3 & 4 year old counted but she refused to allow to change the gratuity. It would be zero. We will not return to this establishment and make our friends aware of the poor service and treatment.

Get here early to this fabulous spot. Cooking at the tables is wonderful. Make your own pancakes with all the extra side things you can choose. Unique spot warm springs nearby changing places for swimming.

Came highly recommended but fell WELL short. Gratuity automatically added for making your own food. Hot plates are in a poor state, first one didn't work, moved tables, then they came back and told us in a rude manner that the first hot plate was OK, even though it was one of the servers that told is it was broken!! Pancakes were not good. Unless you are really good at making your own pancakes then avoid here. Wife wanted scrambled eggs, so you make them yourself too, but the dirty hot plate made the eggs look really bad. They were almost black. The hotplate was far too hot. They didn't charge us, so that was good and the staff were all good except for 2 of them. The surrounding area is beautiful and well worth seeing. Lots of wildlife.
