If you like strange men repeatedly knocking on your door in the middle of the night this is your place.
Nice place to have dinner. Food is good. Some entree options are little expensive tho. Overall 4 stars.
This was a solid good, but not great. It definitely looked better online. The atmosphere is very 'hotel restaurant' (which it is), a bit generic. The food is good but uninspired (though the brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious). The waiter (Theo) was kind and attentive. The prices are higher than what the ambiance and food deserve. It was a pleasant experience, but we would not return.
Took my wife, kids, and mom here for the Mother's Day Brunch. We frequent different holiday brunches around the state and this one was hands down one of our favorites over the last 5 years. We will be returning here for the foreseeable future. The restaurant is beautiful, the food presentation was as well. Everything was fresh and delicious. It's pricey as most of these are, but we feel we definitely got value for our money. Being able to look out over the beach was fantastic as well. 10/10 recommend.
We had dinner tonight at The Abalone. Everything was perfect. When I got the bill it did not itemize each item we ordered, rather it only showed the total amount due with a space for tip. I should have requested the detailed receipt but I did not. I left a generous tip and on the way back to our hotel, I remembered seeing that an 18% gratuity is added to every bill. I feel duped.
Atmosphere and service were nice. The food was just abysmal. we came for the Easter buffet. Many items looked and tasted as if they had been made days before. Some of it truly was not edible. For two adults and one mimosa each our bill was $190. I wouldn't mind paying this for a nice buffet, but will definitely not return here. No quality control whatsoever.
This place was spectacular!! We loved it! Even extended our stay one more day!
Awful!!! We checked in today and valet ignored us for 45 minutes and then helped the people behind us. We check in and waited over an hour for our bags. I called down and the lady told me it will be another 15 minutes. We had dinner plans I had to cancel and pay for because we didn’t have our clothes. We went down and got half of our bags because they wouldn’t even offer us a cart! We went down to get the other half since we couldn’t carry it all and concierge showed up and told me we weren’t down getting our stuff because he’s here now and he was condescending and told me he hopes my days gets better because “I am NOT apologizing for someone else not doing their job right”. I told him he could leave and I didn’t need their help and would do it myself. We have been here 2 hours and it’s been an absolute nightmare! Do not use this hotel. You spend your money for them to be rude and to act like you are bothering them asking for your bags
Slow evening. Server Andre was reasonably attentive. Food good, but not exquisite as you'd expect at a nicer restaurant like this.
Abalone is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful views of the ocean located in the Daytona Grande Oceanfront Resort. The food is very good, along with the cocktails. We were there for dinner and it was a little chilly so we were not able to dine outside. However, the outside seating looks amazing. We will be back to enjoy that dining experience, too. Valet parking was perfect as it is comped by the restaurant for dining there. Thanks to all for making our night out complete.

Valentines but not too busy. Nice attitude but food not great, salmon not good. Steak and lobster decent, sides served cool to warm. Maybe just an off day.
Hands down, the best hotel I have ever stayed at! From the moment I arrived, the customer service was absolutely impeccable. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The accommodations were luxurious, with breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a dream. The hotel's amenities were world-class, leaving no detail overlooked. Whether it was the pool, spa, or dining options, everything exceeded my expectations on every level. A special thank you to the staff for the incredible birthday arrangements and the beautiful touch of rose petals on the floor—it made my celebration so memorable and heartfelt. This hotel is truly a gem, and I highly recommend booking the suite for the ultimate experience. Don't miss out on this slice of paradise!
We were one of only a few tables so it was very quiet. The food was good and reasonably priced especially when compared to other restaurants in the area Overall a good experience
Had to ask hostess for drinks. Server was nonexistent. Really disappointed for this experience
The buffet was a perfect fit for our Christmas meal, the selection of foods was great. We will be returning.
