The Cellar never disappoints! We go here when we visit every year as our date night and can always expect a quiet corner, elegant service, and an amazing dinner course by course. We love Lena the owner and the wine she recommended was a perfect accompaniment. We also love that The Cellar is a place we can depend on to have wild-caught fish, dishes that avoid gluten exposure, and use 100% olive oil and butter as opposed to inflammatory carrier seed oils.
I had a wonderful dining experience at The Cellar. The wine selection was excellent, and I especially appreciated that they offer half-bottle options—it made it easy to enjoy without overcommitting. The food was outstanding: I started with the avocado filled with crab and shrimp, which was fresh and flavorful, and followed with the filet for my main course, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. One of our favorites in Daytona area. Food is always excellent. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Management (I assume she was. She was an older woman who seated us) last night was very rude and brash from the second we walked in. Overheard the next table talking about the same thing. It is unfortunate because we have always had a great experience here but will think twice about going back anytime soon. The food may be top notch but not worth the pompous attitude from her....
