Tiki Bar at Perry's

We came to Daytona Beach for a vacation, was so hard seeing how much destruction the hurricanes have caused to this place. One of the bright spots to our trip here has been Perry's Tiki Bar. Some how this amazing little gem survived. The staff is amazing, the view of the beach is awesome, the history of this place is crazy. They say the might tear it down and build a new one. I hope they dont!!!!! Our history has to be preserved not torn down. Ziggy

We’re staying about half a mile from this place and wondered if there were any beach bars around daytona, so googled tiki bars and this came up. We walked down the beach and could walk right up to the bar and have a view of the ocean at sunset which was nice. Very laid back daytona crowd, felt more like a beer and shot place but they had a sign listing tiki drinks and the bartender made me a good baybreeze. Drinks were cheap!!! Though maybe we were there during a happy hour, not sure. There was a cute dog here too so I assume it’s dog friendly.

Enjoyed a drink on the ocean!

I really enjoyed our stay and all the green space, a few adjustments and equipment cushions, real bags for the corn toss games, pins for the umbrellas, food at the tiki bar, beach access when time permits, p*** bag station, a better free breakfast, heated pool. Staff was great, rooms were great, cleanliness was great, transparency upon reservations could be better, limit construction to weekdays only. have sprinklers come on at 4am not sunrise when patrons like to have coffee outside, everything is all wet, cotter pins for all the umbrellas, free towels and have a towel station with a room key access by the pools, keep up the good work and progress, only 4-5 months after a major Hurricane and 75% was in good working order, hope to come back soon, glad we came here for our 16th wedding anniversary.

good price for ocean view, but much like camping out rather than resort stay. Housekeeping didn't clean the toilet or kitchen floor. Phone was inoperable for the first 36 hours. Wonderful view of the ocean through dirty windows. No TV listing with channel numbers. Tiki bar not available although was told at check in that it was.

very clean room and friendly staff. 1 pool is closed due to mother nature eroding away he beach and getting to close to the pool. long walk to get to the beach due to only 1 entrance open from the resort depending on where your room is located. Ihop and a 7/11 across the street made it easy to eat and drink. overall a nice place to stay and would stay again.

I have been a travel agent for 40 years and have been vacationing at Perry's with my own family since 1965. We are in our 3rd generation at this resort. Great location, great staff, several pools to choose from both indoor and outdoor, convenient location to shopping and restaurants. The accommodations with kitchens/ efficiencies make our stay here very comfortable and cost effective. The homemade donuts are the icing on the cake and have kept us coming back for decades.

Hurricane damage is way beyond the resort's control, but pride of ownership that we have experience d in the past was missing. Our room was clean and well appointed, but outside walkways, stairwells, elevators, and peeling paint disappointed. Perry's is in a great location for shopping, restaurants, and the beach. My husband is willing to give it another try, me not so much. Disappointing as I have been there about 10 times over the last 20 years and I just see it going downhill.
