I’m usually not a big fan of eggs because of texture issues. These were some of the best eggs I’ve had. Thank you, I’ll be back.

Reminds me of a place back home.

Small, inviting, affordable, and delicious.
Staff is extremely friendly, prompt and your cup is never empty.
Great conversations and an all around “feels like home” atmosphere.
A place I hope stays around for years to come.

I would absolutely suggest this as a place to grab a bite to eat and simply feel at ease.

Very friendly, hidden breakfast gem. Its inside the TropicalWinds hotel. Walk thru the lobby towards the ocean and you are there!Food is fair and afforable with good portion sizes. Menu isn't too big and service is fast. We we're one of 2 couples in the restraunt. There's an entrance to the pool deck and ocean. Homefries are boiled and seasoned, meatlovers omlet was big and full of meat. I prefer shredded cheese, they use a cheese sauce. But grear flavor. Definatly going back!

Parking: Didn't know where the entrance was. No signage to indicate where to go or park.

A really delightful café on the ground floor of the Tropical Winds Hotel. Very friendly people, and this is a small privately owned café, not owned by the hotel. The servings are quite large and the food was very tasty. We had to get a take-home box for our leftovers. And the price is very affordable as well. Nice view of the pool and beach. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!!!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid and family friendly. Nice people!

The food was refreshing with a meticulously flavored, home-style cooking. I don’t eat pancakes with butter but here was done spectacularly. The dining area wasn’t big but felt cozy and unique according to the beach environment. Not to mention the closeness to the shore. A revitalizing difference from the bigger more popular restaurants.

I took my grand daughter for her sweet 16 birthday trip since she loves the beach. We checked and right away we saw roaches! I left told front desk and he put us in an “upgraded” room which was same room higher floor. The sheets had stains! I stayed here a few times in the past but they really are rundown now.

Stayed here for 4 nights at check in there was a line of people waiting to be checked in. Front desk staff some was very friendly some you was lucky if you got a smile out of them. Upon getting in our room we had only 1 pillow case on the pillows on beds and the pillows was filthy but whatever I always bring my own from home. Asked the housekeeper very young girl she said I don’t have any. Needed one for my husband cause he always uses hotel pillows. Also getting towels was a pain they always said I don’t have any believe they was having issues with their washer and dryer. Had to ask the lady at desk one evening for them and she didn’t say anything just handed me some she was one that didn’t crack a smile. But other then that… Our room 301 was very clean at check in and loved the view from oceanfront balcony the pools indoor and outdoor was nice. Outdoor pool was very dirty one day we got in they need pool cleaning crew to clean everyday not every few days like I saw. I got really good deal on a vacation website for booking the room I was very pleased for what I paid.

WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! First of all upon arriving to the hotel at 2AM after a 30 hour drive we were given a master key to the hotel by mistake. I was exhausted and instead of going to our room, 811, I swiped the key in 808, got a green light and the door opened to a person sleeping in thier bed with the TV on and a pair of sandals on the floor. Confused and startled I shut the door and we went back to the desk to explain what had happend. The man at the front desk was unapologetic and even blamed us for trying the wrong door. My husband was frustrated and tired and told the man that we were now questioning the security of the rooms at the hotel. If we can open anyone elses door whos to say no one can get into our room with thier key? My husband went to the closest room and tried the door, green light, next door down from there, green light. At this point my husband and the man at the desk are upset and bickering with eachother and I was ready to cry because now I felt the staff at the hotel would be resentful towards us for the remainder of our stay and this is not how I wanted to start my vacation. The man at the desk told us this sort of thing happens often, at any hotel and if we didnt like it we could find somewhere else to stay. At this point were both frustrated and tired and just want to get to our room. To top things off we were checked into the wrong room on our first night due to the hotel over booking themselves. We paid for a beach front king with a balcony and were put in a side view king with two exhaust fans on the balcony blowing HOT air. We couldn't even stand out there for more than 5 minutes it was so hot. The room itself was dated and had cracks in the walls and a stained ceiling. The sheets were dingy and neither my husband or I wanted to get under the covers. I needed a shower after the long trip but the pipes were so loud they woke my 3 year old up. The second night we were moved to the room we PAID for. Thus room was better than the first and we were satisfied to spend the rest of the week there. However our pool day plans were ruined when the pool was shut down due to broken glass so we left to find other things to do. We only ended up staying at the hotel half of the week since we have family nearby that we ended up sleeping at thier homes. Despite not being in our room much we received a letter under the door mid week. A warning about smoking in or room. The best part is that none of us are smokers!! Neither me or my husband and especially not our toddler had smoked in that room. To say I was disappointed with our stay is an understatement. We have stayed on Daytona shores many times and have never had a worse experience.
