Upper Crust & Crumb Baglery

I was waiting for my friend to have her medical test done. I ordered a coffee and blueberry muffin. Best I have ever had. Chock full of moist blueberries. I complimented the restaurant, she said her grandpa made them homemade everyday.

Before my appointment, I stopped by to grab some water and a muffin. After my appointment, I returned to the café to open my laptop while waiting for my dad. A woman named Barbara looked at me in a disapproving way and asked if I was just going to sit there without buying anything. I explained that I had purchased something from her just 45 minutes earlier and that I was waiting for my dad, who would be there soon. I pointed out that the café was nearly empty. She responded, “It doesn’t matter; there are a lot of chairs outside.”

Feeling hurt, I left and ended up crying, even though I couldn't quite figure out why. It saddened me to think that some people can be so unfriendly. I wondered if her attitude was influenced by my being Asian. I would have understood her behavior if there had been a crowd, but the café was empty.

Food was very good and freshly made. Soup was amazing and served piping hot!! It’s a nice thing they are doing for patients, families and employees of the medical plaza. Thank you, y’all made my day!

Awesome pistachio muffins, but call ahead because they're always out so they'll have some for you.

Came for a bagel sandwich, and that's what I got. Note: this is located inside the medical building. The North entrance is the easiest path to the cafe. Very nice people.

Terrible service!!!

Went in here while waiting for my OB appointment. Asked the man working if they had any sandwiches with egg. He said yes. Then I proceeded to order a bagel with cream cheese and add an egg, and he looked at me with the weirdest look. I kinda froze and looked confused back, and he said "cream cheese and egg?? Well, I'm not eating it". He could tell I shut down and I was very uncomfortable after that, and he tried to make more comments and looked at my stomach and said "do you want a pickle with that too?" because I'm pregnant, and then said "I'm just kidding with you"... His tone and facial expressions were not in a joking matter in his original comments, and I think he just tried to recover from his weird and rude comments with bad jokes about a pregnant lady. Outside of the first interaction, I wouldn't mind a pregnancy joke or something, but it was just awkward at that point. I decided to tell him Im good and that maybe I'll come back later and left.

Ask how much it costs dont go by menu board.Went in to get a bagel to try them from here and if good chewy bagel that is real ny style i planned to get bakers dozen.Menu board said 1.35 for single bagel. I ordered. She told me it was 2.00 after taking my 20.00 and returningc18. I said how much is it board says 1.35? She said they dont have any8ne working for them to change prices, costs have gone up, everything has gone up. Yeah. So? The board can easily be reached and has no cover. Remove prices at least but dont have ones 2/3 of what u charge.I said to give memy 2.00back and keep itAt the very least cover board and say ask for price.I wont be back.

Friendly service, good prices and delicious sandwiches and smoothies!! Highly recommend!!

Amazing potato salad and veggie sandwich!

Came here on a whim whilst waiting for my daughter to come out of surgery. What a lovely little gem of a place !! So glad I came! The food was delicious and cooked fresh with a nice variety of everything. The environment is calming and welcoming. The staff is helpful, polite and friendly. What more could anyone look for ?Very nice Cafe, would definitely return.

Stumbled across this eatery in the Twin Lakes Medical office after a dr appt. Let me start by saying this place is amazing!! Their sandwiches are huge and cheap! The turkey raspberry sandwich was amazing and their bowl of chilli was the best ive ever had.. ever!! Its a family business ran by a couple and their desserts are made by another famiy member. Don't hesitate to try them out! They have breakfast, lunch and desserts.

I love this place... it's located in the Twin Lakes Urgent Care & Medical Facility Bldg,. so I only frequent when i visit my doctor, but they make the best bagel w/ lox sandwich in the area... as a NY'er I miss these things and this is where I get my fix. They also have a Turkey w/ raspberry preserve that my husband loves. Any way, if your in the Twin Lakes area and you are hungry... the sandwiches at this place will put a smile on your face.
