We had a great meal at Zappi's tonight. Meatball with Ricotta cheese and sauce appetizer and Lasagna, Egg Plant Lasagna for entrees with a nice house wine. Our waiter Christian was very helpful and guided us to some delicious dinners.

The food and the ambiance are outstanding! The staff, friendly and accommodating. Zappi's is a gem in downtown Daytona. We discovered Zappi's about 5 years ago and have no issue driving over an hour enjoy one of their delicious entrées.

Celebrating my husband's birthday, which just happens to be on Valentine's Day is never an easy feat. Most restaurants are booked and those that aren't, seem to rush you through your meal. That was not the case at Zappi's. From the time that we walked in until the time we departed, the service was superb, and having a chance to chat with the owner helped me to understand why. These folks really care! About the vibe, the customer service, and especially the food. We enjoyed our meal so much that we've been telling everyone about our wonderful experience. Be sure to try the Meatball Sliders...YUMMY!!!😋

It was my birthday and it was the first romantic restaurant my new boyfriend and I had gone to. They sat us in the way back of the court yard area. Yes it was pretty but we were completely in the back almost by the kitchen. This was a special night. Three servers walked by and said we will be right with you but they never did. I am a surviving cancer patient and because of radiation I lost half my saliva and to not have a drink is terrible. It was almost 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered a sweet tea which was terrible. I couldn't drink it. I then ordered a sprite and something was wrong with it too. Then again waited for a long time before anyone came to take our order. The bread they brought us was hard as a rock. I asked for more but it was the same. I ordered the chicken piccata and it was tasteless and dry. I couldn't eat it. It was our last night in Daytona and to have this experience was very disappointing.

Thankfully, the food was pretty good. Even the food that came out not so hot. They got part of our order wrong. The service was pretty bad. If there was a reason for it, nobody told us. Thankfully, the food was good enough that we would give it another try, but not for a while. My tiramisu was pretty good!!

Wonderful outside courtyard with social distancing. Had chicken piccata and it was so yummy. Enjoyed the garlic bread too. Others had clams in white wine sauce and certainly enjoyed it. Good service. We were there over 2 hours so certainly weren’t rushed.

My wife and I dined at Zappi's Italian Garden Restaurant last evening. Due to a preexisting health issue, I have hesitated to dine out though we were aware of Zappi's courtyard and a lovely warm Florida evening beckoned us to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The restaurant has a beautiful courtyard and the tables were very much "socially distanced" one from another. The servers wore masks the masks were worn appropriately covering both mouth and nose. I felt very comfortable with the precautions taken which led to a relaxed and delicious dinner. In my opinion, the best dinner salad in town and our appetizer of bruschetta were the perfect starters. And our entrees were piping hot and served in a timely way so that each course could be appreciated individually. Lastly, my hat's off to our outstanding server, Maxine. She provided service that was friendly, respectful, courteous and timely. She even poured and refilled our wine glasses. I hope that you might ask for her should you decide to dine at Zappi's Otherwise, please support this restaurant which is providing our community with an excellent dining experience during a very challenging time in all of our lives.

We went there for dinner on Saturday, 2/13/21 for an early Valentines Day celebration and absolutely loved it. We sat outside, and the ambiance is great! Our server, "Mad Max" was very attentive and the food was awesome. We are already discussing going back!
