Glad that Zappi's was able to reopen. Food was still very good and service was good. The only disappointment we had was that happy hour prices for wine were only good at the bar and not in the dining room

This Place ‼ Either during or after every wine walk we end up here for amazing food and sangria ! Val was our server this evening, she went above and beyond & food was fabulous. We ordered chicken piccata, pasta w/vodka sauce with shrimp, and meat lovers pizza. Appetizers we did bruschetta & saganaki cheese w/ pita ! D'Lish ‼

The garden is delightful. The food is wonderful. Our party had lasagna and ravioli. Our server was very attentive and accommodating to our requesting separate checks.

Pesto? No way. Sucked. Ordered to go several nights ago and got pesto shrimp fettuccini. Shrimp were small and dry. Pesto was oil and old green leaves. Awful. Never again. Way overpriced.

Looking for a place to celebrate my birthday and what a gem we found.. absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was incredible and the service was awesome. We will definitely be visiting here again. We had the chicken Alfredo, the chicken Pasandwich, the Parma Pizza, kids Pepperoni Pizza, the kids Cheese Pizza and the Garlic knots appetizer.. it was all amazing!

We are so happy they are back open. The food was absolutely amazing and our server Annie went over and beyond. She was so sweet and explained everything on the menu perfectly. We can't wait to go back and hope we get Annie as our server!

Enjoyed a great dinner last night at Zappi's. The entrance off Beach Street is charming and inviting with lots of outdoor seating. The interior is divided between the bar (which has seating for dining) and the main dining area. Tables and booths are not too close together and offer many options to accommodate larger parties. The dining area is clean, well lighted, and designed to allow easy traffic flow as the service staff makes their way from the diners to the kitchen and back. We had a reservation for four at 6:00pm. And even though only two of us arrived on time, we were immediately seated. Our server, Doug who was outstanding all evening, took our drink order. Knowing the other two members of our party would arrive soon, we ordered two appetizers. Baked garlic shrimp and breaded mozzarella. Our remaining guests arrived shortly thereafter with the drinks and appetizers served just minutes later. For our mains we ordered eggplant parmigiana, clams with linguini, chicken piccata with a side of asparagus and the special for the evening veal parmigiana. Each meal was well prepared and well presented. Including the house bread and dipping oil. Our dining experience was enhanced by the professionalism of our server, Doug. Who stood out as one of the best in the Daytona area from our recent experiences. Overall, we recommend Zappi's as a dining experience to enjoy with friends and family or as an after work gathering. Or simply as a pleasant date night.

Now lets start with the drinks, orderd a mojito it tasted nothing like one, sent it back ordered an apple martini the same sent it back, then I ordered something you cant screw up a Jack and coke, watery but got tired of sending things back. Dinner - I ordered mine a vodka sauce, not good felt like it was some sort of mix from a bag and supposed to have Prosciutto but did not was more of a knock off sauce and the pasta over cooked. my partners dinner well that was another story. The appetizer was dried out and bland. A sad ending although kudos to the staff cant say much for the bartender of the cook aka chef lol

Zappi's closed for a short while, I thought forever, they are back and open! This is a quaint, Italian restaurant with a beautiful outside garden area that reminds me of many outdoor restaurants in small Italian villages that I visited last summer. I always sit outside. There is a lovely fountain, and oversized umbrellas. The food is excellent and the wait staff the best! Can't wait to return again.

The more things change, the more they stay the same at Zappi's - and that's not a compliment. I went with a group of 8 on a recent weeknight. The food was wonderful (as always) and our server was very polite and apologetic of the issues the kitchen and bar had: Our drinks and meals took a rather long time to arrive, my husband received a different salad from what he ordered, the bartender got creative with my friend's drink (used dark rum instead of light rum without making sure the switch was okay), and they were out of lasagna (it was only 7:30pm when we ordered. What Italian restaurant runs out of lasagna before the end of the dinner shift?!). I am only complaining because this has happened EVERY time I've been to Zappi's through the years. I only returned each time because friends kept wanting to have celebrations there. I think next time, I'll tell the friend about the challenges and suggest a different restaurant.

Service is painfully terrible. Gave them several prior chances and things were pretty good. Not this time. We Ordered Cesar salad. It never came. Pizza was ok. One person in our party ordered salmon bruschetta with broccoli and mashed potatoes and it was a piece of bland cooked salmon with spaghetti noodles. It did not come until about 45 minutes after the pizzas came. They took the salmon and salad off the bill but pretty sure we'll never come back. Awful experience. You've been forewarned. Go at your own risk.

We were very disappointed. We went to dinner for 6:00 and we wanted pizza but they said they were out. So I ordered a meatball grinder with no cheese. We were served our appetizers and then they told us the meatballs have cheese in them. I was so upset that I didn't want anything else. I have worked as a server all my life and I feel that they should have comped our meal. Poor customer service.
