The only reason they get a 3 is cause the food was good. However service was horrible. We sat down and waited for someone to come to our table (as instructed by an employee) which took a few. Then we put our orders in and got our drinks. The food took about 20 mins, and our drinks stayed empty for about 10 mins. When the food runner brought our food I had to ask for more drinks. Then one of the orders was for the Blackened trio. Before we ordered i asked if it could be grill and she said yes, so thats how it was ordered, but when they brought it out it was blackened. We ordered different sides than it showed that it came with, but ended up getting what it came with instead of what we ordered. The manager was told of all the issue. He brought us the correct sides, but after sitting there with empty drinks, excessive wait time for the food then the wrong food it was just a bad experience. After eating we waited another 15 before we had to go ask for our check. For the hour and 43 mins we were there we saw an employee 3 times. This is inside an RV park and it seems like they catered to the regulars, not new customers

Food was ok, a bit over cooked and high priced. The service was too notch. And you can't beat lunch on the river.

Food and Atmosphere were Terrific!
Would have been five stars but service was AWFUL! First, the food was amazing. We had a mix of seafood and pastas. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and served hot. A little on the expensive side but worth it for the food and atmosphere. We had a gentleman playing music too - he did awesome. No fault in food or atmosphere. Now, the service was awful. We placed an order for waters to start. Got the waters when waitress returned to take food order. Also placed a mix drink order feom the bar when food was ordered. Waited, waited, waited. Watched the table beside us with the same waitress walk and get his own silverware and napkins. Food was delivered by someone else. Waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything, never refilled drinks, never brought bar drink, never asked if we wanted dessert, nothing. Flagged down a bus boy to ask for water refills and to cancel bar order. Other wait staff seemed to be busting ass, guess ours had a bad night. Would eat again - but hope to have a different server.

After our relaxing and refreshing floats down Blue Springs Run there’s no better way to keep the good vibes flowing. Nestled along the scenic St. Johns riverfront, Swamp House Riverfront Grill offers a blend of Southern hospitality and traditional flavors, the rustic yet inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
I had the Fried Grouper Sandwich, the generous portion of fish was fried to golden perfection, crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, I topped it with my coleslaw adding a nice balance of creaminess and crunch.
My husband had the Fish and Chips, he said the french fries were top 5! The meal came with 2 big pieces of fish but the pic I took only has one because he ate it so fast 😂
We visited on a Monday around 3:30 pm, so the place was quiet and relaxed with plenty of seating and riverfront views, it made for a peaceful dining experience where the friendly staff could give us extra attention. Our server was absolutely darling, she made our meal even more enjoyable with her genuine care. The manager personally came to our table to check in and ask how everything was, that made the experience feel even more welcoming. It’s clear that Swamp House Riverfront Grill cares about their guests’ satisfaction.
Located right next to the Highbanks Boat Ramp.
One small note for first-timers: the Swamp House Riverfront Grill sign is modestly sized and mounted on the marina’s large sign, so keep an eye out to spot it.

Great location overlooking the St John’s River. However, the view is obstructed by the plastic screen that needs to be pressure washed.
Not a bad spot if you’re boating and need a burger. Waitstaff was pleasant. Local vibe.

They stopped serving fresh pork rinds and that has always been one of the main reasons I went there.

Great place! The food is awesome! Service is excellent! It’s also dog friendly on the patio overlooking the water. They even welcomed my dog with a bowl of water! Highly recommended!

Fun, atmospheric and friendly place overlooking the weather. There is a fun and swamp themed menu selection. It's more about the experience rather than the food (which fine but not targeting gourmet taste). If visiting florida/south eastern US, its something your not going to find at home or in big investment themed tourist parks

The last 4 times we have ordered a Swamp Burger to goj it has been dry. We ordered it medium. Their Swamp Burgers used to be delicious...nice and juicy. Part of the problem they have changed there buns and they are dry. They went and fixed something that wasn't broke. So many times my wife and I go to a restaurant that we like and they have to change something and it is not as good. Don't know if it is due tonew management
