Kid-friendliness: We frequently boat here and love it! Park the boat for a quick restroom break, amazing food, and good prices. The staff are always SUPER SWEET. It's mainly what keeps us coming back. Oh, and the best gator tail I've had! and thats saying a lot since I try them pretty much everywhere that offers it.

This has been our go-to place for many years. The restaurant is full of locals enjoying good food and views on the st. John. This last visit came with some disappointment, the fish portions have shrunk and the rice n beans were cold. The server was attentive and happily did his part to make the meal right.
We won't hold it against them. Most likely, we will be back!

We used to visit the Swamp House regularly. However, hadn't been there in a few months. The feel of the place is different and hard to explain. Usually fairly lively is was a bit boring. The menu hadn't changed but the food we received did, the steak tacos of yesterday are certainly not our regular tacos from there. We learned of a management 5 we certainly felt it during our visit.
