I recently hired Boca Joe's Catering for a family event at my home, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. From the moment they arrived, things started going downhill. The staff was unprofessional and seemed more interested in socializing amongst themselves than ensuring our guests were taken care of.

To make matters worse, the food they served was of extremely poor quality. Several dishes were cold, undercooked, or lacked any flavor. The presentation was sloppy, and they didn't provide nearly enough food for the number of guests we had discussed in our initial agreement.

As the evening progressed, many of our guests began feeling ill, experiencing severe stomach pains, and showing signs of food poisoning. My grandfather, who was celebrating his 80th birthday, was rushed to the hospital, where he spent three days recovering from the effects of the tainted food.

To top it all off, when I tried to address these issues with Boca Joe's Catering, they were dismissive and refused to take responsibility for the subpar service and the illnesses they caused. Their lack of concern for our family's well-being and their poor customer service made an already terrible situation even worse.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using Boca Joe's Catering for any event. Our family will never forget the disastrous experience we had, and we hope others can avoid the same heartache and potential health risks by choosing a more reliable and professional catering service.

I'm new at this and was planning a 70th birthday party for my wife. After reviewing and previewing a number of caterers I settled on Joe and his business. From his suggestions to the planning (even suggested the appropriate time to hold this for 50+ people), to the set up, to the cleanup and to the staff it was in my opinion seamless, without drama and the food was well prepared, well presented and great. I only had positive feed back from the guests (and of course, my wife). I thought the pricing was fair and reasonable given what I ordered and in comparison to similar caterers.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not use this caterer if you actually want to have food at your event. Totally irresponsible and unreliable. I contacted Joe at least 3 months ago about catering my daughters baby shower in June. We discussed a menu and I received an email with a price quote. We discussed speaking in a few weeks to confirm when I had a more definite head count. When I would call with questions it would take days for a call back and about 2 months ago I received a text that he was out of town for 3 weeks and would be in touch. After multiple unanswered texts, trying to confirm, I received a text 2 weeks before the event, which was June 4th, saying “I’ll call you tonight”. It is now June 12 and I am still waiting for that phone call. I had to scramble to find another caterer at the last minute, and thankfully Doris’s Market catering came through for me with flying colors. Boca Joe’s does not deserve to still be in business, although it actually looks like he doesn’t want to be. A complete waste of my time.

I had an excellent experience from the first phone call to the end of my event. Joe and his team were incredibly professional, well-prepared and easy to work with. The prepared dishes were delicious and the presentation of the platters was gorgeous! I would highly recommend Boca Joe’s Catering!!

Had to plan a party for 40 people in FL from 1300 miles away. When I called, the owner, Joe, answered the phone. From start to finish he made the process a breeze. We ordered the Tour of Italy. Food was very good. Our server, Andrea, was wonderful. On time, on point. Made the day! Definitely would use them again!

We just used them for a graduation brunch and everyone raved about how delicious their Omelettes were. All the food was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent from initial booking and throughout the event. They are a pleasure to work with. We will certainly be using them again!

We were throwing a private prom for our seniors, and happened upon Boca Joe's website. I was able to find a variety of food that would be easy to put out and appetizing for the kids. The food was delivered on time, with everything we needed. I didn't have to lift a finger. Everything was so delicious and exactly what we expected! I even received a follow-up call after the event for any feedback. Highly recommend this business.

I hired Boca Joes Catering for my annual employee appreciation dinner and their service, professionalism, prices and most important food quality was AMAZING. The staff was very helpful and they even stayed extra to help us clean up the venue once the event was over. The food was great and all the employees loved the Bbque ribs and the macaroni and cheese was out of this world. Definitely call them for your next event.
