Right when we walk in the door Charlie greets us and welcomes us into his restaurant. We placed our order, grabbed our drinks and utensils and had a seat. Charlie has a selection of private label soft drinks. We tried the Root Beer and it was very flavorful. Our orders arrived pretty quickly. I chose the swordfish and had it blackened, as Charlie sudgested. It was very good. I also enjoyed the coleslaw and the seasoned fries. My companion had the fish and chips. She felt that the fish was under seasoned, but liked the fries and coleslaw. Overall a good experience and we will try again in the future. :)

Based on other Yelp reviews, I was very optimistic about trying this place. Sadly, my experience was not positive. We had a lobster roll, which didn't look anything like the pictures on Yelp! There was no claw meat, only knuckle meat, and it was super mealy. Also had the fried conch, which I suggest you avoid unless you have jaws of steel. Chef/owner should pay the Fish Shack a visit to see how it's done. Lastly, be sure to ask for an itemized receipt

Our friend Pat recommended Charlie's and we finally had the time to go during our daughters visit from Hoboken. She wanted Lobster rolls so we decided to try it out. Incredible Maine Lobster Rolls, crispy fries and the owner is extremely friendly in a genuine way! Definitely will be back since we live 10 min away...

Liked this place. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Food was very good and Charlie the owner, who took our order was very personable. I had the swordfish, coleslaw, grilled veggies and for dessert key lime pie.

Omg best seafood near the beach. Plus Charlie is such a nice guy. I actually ate inside and I was planning to pick up and leave. But he makes you feel so comfortable I said why not. Trust me just you want be disappointed I also tried the fried oysters and chicken wings I ate them to fast to post a pic??

We’ve been coming to Charlie’s for a few months now and it seems every time is better than the last. Price is on point, Charlie is always welcoming and on-site, food is always fresh (I’m a fisherman and I can tell fresh vs. frozen….this is FRESH) — would recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal at a fair price. Blackened wahoo, conch fritters, calamari & grouper fingers are our favorites.
Excellent dinner menu! The blackened fish is fresh and deelish! Had mine with grilled veggies and cole slaw and my friend ordered hers with grilled veggies and rice. Yum! We also tried the carrot cake and keylime pie! Mouthwatering! Thanks, Charlie! We'll be back!

Super friendly owner greets you at the counter. Food was quick, delicious, and fresh. We enjoyed the fish and chips basket and our non-fish friends enjoyed the steak sandwich. Very comfortable spot for lunch or to go.

Just ate at Charlie's Fish fry for the first time. We had a swordfish sandwich lightly blackened, and added tarter sauce. It was delicious and the fries were very crispy and great! Also had clam strip roll and clams were lightly breaded with a buttery flavor. Last thing tried was blackened scallop roll. It was melt on your mouth delicious. Charlie the owner is a great guy! We will be coming back next year on our next trip

As a local I pass by this place 4 times a day and have never tried it until today and I'm disappointed I didn't try it sooner. The man that helped me when I walked in (probably owner) was very friendly and even told me to call in the order next time so it's not more expensive through grub hub. I had the blackened wahoo sandwich with hush puppies and it was amazing! I'd compare this place to fish shack in pompano. Quality eats!!
