I just left the restaurant and I am extremely disappointed. I have been to the restaurant several times and have never had any problems. My family came from Brazil to visit me and I decided to take them to Cochic so we could have a “nice” lunch before going to the beach. I won’t go on about the service, but it left something to be desired. But that wasn’t the biggest problem. The problem was: when I asked for the bill, the guy only brought the machine with the amount of $87.68. Based on that principle, what do you think? I thought I didn’t have the tip or service charge, so I paid an extra 15%, even though it already had 18% included. After I left the restaurant I was able to check the bill. I went back and asked for the extra tip amount to be refunded. The attendant was very biased when he did this. It’s not about the extra $13, but rather the lack of transparency. I like the restaurant and I hope they will be more transparent with the customer next time.

First I must start by saying the food is very decent. I however had a poor experience with the server. It’s strange because I had been 2 previous times and he was polite to me. Today was another story. I came in and ordered and it took a while. He would barely speak to me which isn’t that strange but because he had been friendlier the previous encounters I had different expectations. After I order a young attractive Portuguese speaking woman enters the empty restaurant. Maybe they were friends but he has a completely different energy towards her more similar to what he previously had with me. She was served first which is fine sometimes certain dishes don’t take as long as others. I however finished before her and he brought me my bill. I put my card in the bill slip and waited till she finished eating so he could politely help her first while I watched then he would allow me to checkout ( I was in a hurry). I was annoyed but didn’t think it was worth mentioning considering I was the only one there and was in a hurry to exit. For the third day in a row I left a generous gratuity and saw myself out. I wasn’t thanked or greeted on the way out. I would recommend if you are not a native Portuguese speaker to only do a carryout. I can tell they prefer a certain type of customers. Borderline discrimination if I’m being honest, but it is their business to run how they like. Just be wary customer service isn’t their forte and they prefer their Brazilian clientele far greater than they do the Americans. Food is solid so as I mentioned if you’re hungry for some decent Brazilian food I would carry out and don’t try to make small talk with the staff. They aren’t polite to Americans.

Food was tasty and well priced. Good prices and friendly service. However, the steak had lots of fat that needed to be trimmed prior to serving. It’s at least 3-4 ounce of your bbq. Obviously it all went to waste.

All wonderful! We ate the onion picanha, fried with cheese and bacon, all very well seasoned! The coxinha is wonderful. We love the cochic sandwich. Everything very fresh and delicious. Rating 10. I recommend it!
Coxinhas were exquisite! Also had double decker burger and fries with the ice cream brownie for dessert. All were lovely. Super friendly service and great vibe overall. Will defo be back

This place used to be my favorite for coxinha. The last time I was at the location I wasn’t happy about the food and today I ordered delivery and I regretted at first bite. Very little filling, the chicken coxinha is not chicken inside, is cream with chicken. I’m sad this place is not like it used to be.

The staff and food is amazing! We got the orange juice with papaya, bruschetta fries, pork sandwich, Brazilian coffee, and the brownie dessert. Everything we ordered as prepared fresh and incredibly tasty! It’s 1pm on a Sunday and I am still wondering why this gem of a restaurant isn’t packed full of people! Amazing!
