Environment, waitresses, cashiers management, all other employees were absolutely friendly, professional informative and accommodating. Even though the restaurant was packed, they kept their 😎 cool. ✨️.

We have been eating at this restaurant for years , and had not been there for awhile. Last night we arrived to a practically empty restaurant. Very unusual. I ordered breakfast and my husband the meatloaf. Our only special request was extra crispy bacon. Our biscuits came first and they were hard as rocks. My scrambled eggs were cold, flat and flavorless and bacon raw. The French toast was gloppy and gross. The meatloaf was a a thin tiny portion with no gravy, mashed potatoes were good. The dumplings were watery and disgusting. What happened to the great food and service this place once provided? Our waitress laughed when my husband mentioned the small portion. We did not recognize any of the wait staff, many who had been here for years. When we went to pay for the horrible meal the manager and two girls were giggling and carrying on. The girl who rang us up looked bothered. The manager should walk around the restaurant floor and kitchen instead of gossiping with the girls . It might give him insight as to why this once booming restaurant was nearly empty at dinner time.

it was my first time ever at cracker barrel this past saturday. i went with my bf and we both loved the food! our server, neissa if i’m not mistaken, was wonderful; she tended to all our needs in a timely manner and really knows the menu! the gift shop was adorable too. we will definitely be back!

Our group of 3 seniors arrived for late breakfast and we're seated immediately. 2 breakfast sandwiches and a 2 pancakes and bacon. We had a hot tea, a coffee, and a cola for drinks. The food and drinks were delivered quickly and made to order. They were all delicious. Service was great. I paid the bill without looking and received my rewards. Afterwards, I was informed that I paid the wrong bill. I paid someone else bill which was more expensive than mine. I told them to cancel my check and bill me correctly. They said it was their mistake and Cracker Barrel would handle it. Just to clear the problem, the print was so small that I could not read it either and I had my eyeglasses on. I don't blame our waitress for this. This was an outstanding breakfast, Service, and atmosphere. Besides, my group shopped and bought products from the store. A great time for all.

Very disappointed with menu on Wednesday, Nov. 26th. Since phone orders weren’t being taken I made a special trip to order trout dinner. Arrived and waiter said having a limited menu for that day and not serving trout.
Also interrupted two hostesses who were having personal conversation about job requesting to place order.
Went to another restaurant who were more accommodating.
I have been a frequent customer.

The food was delicious. Our server kept forgetting items, but I think he was overwhelmed. Most places are understaffed. He was super nice and friendly. The gravy and biscuits were cold. The place was busy and some of the groups were loud. They were having a good time, but it just echoes in the place and we were tired from a long drive.

A little better than last time. Biscuits are still bad, and the house salad that I got was mostly all lettuce, a small garnish of cheese, and not much else. The meatloaf was good today. Our server was a little challenged. Very distracted with his surroundings and not exactly listening to our orders. We are getting there. Still not at levels pre-covid days, but better than our last visit.

On 11/15/25 I was invited for a meal at the Deerfield Beach Fl location at approximately 3:30pm and the place had maybe ten tables occupied which has never been seen before at this location. Needless to say, I was pleased at being seated quickly by Elizabeth who took our order and she checked on us without being annoying. Here’s the best part, the service we received from ELIZABETH was nothing short of being FANTASTIC. Based on my friend’s opinion, as truck driver, has visited many crackle barrel locations over the road agreed that she deserves KUDOS for the great service she provided from the beginning to the end! I hope this company recognizes and appreciate her customer service skills. We sure did!
