Emils European Sausage Kitchen

So…I went out of my way twice to travel to Emil’s to check it out and get some German sausages and food. I checked Google maps and it said it was open and both times mid day (12:30/1:00) they’re closed when it said they’re open. What’s going on? Disappointed I couldn’t get anything, disappointed I wasted time and gas (20 minutes each way). Why are they not open when they say they’re open? Not going to go out of my way a third time that’s for sure.

A hidden gem in Deerfield . As a Canadian German visiting this area for the last 15 years I can’t believe I’ve not found this deli before. Run do not walk for the best sausages, meatloaf , leberwurst all good things made on the premises by a lovely couple.

I walked out of there with a $100 worth of products and can tell you I am very very happy. Highly Recommend if you like fresh Sausage and all other types of fresh meats made right in the back. Emil's always has wonderful fresh meats and cheeses. I love their dried sausage, Frankfurters, Red Cabbage, and their frozen Sauerbraten even made my italian friend a fan! I'll be there tomorrow to pick up Perogies

Authentic German taste, great quality meats and sausages. The owners, who are wonderful people, make most of the products. If you are looking for quality, authenticity and high satisfaction for your tastebuds, Emil's is the place. Home made potato salad, sauerkraut to pair with the meat and bread products, along with dessert items to top off a great meal. Great service as well. Five stars+ for Emil's.
