Terrible food cold and nothing to eat rice was old and hard

First and last time at this buffet. All the food was cold... It was dried out as if it had been sitting there for days on end and they just kept reheating it in a microwave. We went on a Tuesday early for lunch thinking that the food would be freshest but it was really the worst buffet we've been to in years.

The typical buffet food is here, there's just one difference... Most of the food is cold, and there's no steam coming from underneath the tins. I thought it was weird that there was no steam coming up from underneath the food. The hibachi station seems to be the only place you can get hot food. There is also a language barrier here. The waitresses don't speak English, either does The hibachi chef. The cold food that I did eat was okay, but it should have been hot, or at least warm! I can't believe all the other positive reviews about this place

I love love coconut shrimp. Here they make sure it’s lighter than most places and not so greasey. A solid place with solid food with a solid reputation. Oh their orange chicken is delicious.

I prefer family owned restaurants and this is one where the family truly cares about its business, service and more importantly QUALITY! We have so many mediocre places in the area but HB is always consistently good. My grandson loves their coconut shrimp. His family owns a restaurant in Virginia and is very aware of QUALITY and TASTE. His top three dishes here including the killer coconut shrimp are orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken. He LOVES this place! Besides quality I believe cleanliness, consistency, cost and caring are what makes a place go beyond mediocrity and becomes a FAMILY FAVORITE. Atrocious and BLAND. Believe the bad reviews.
First red flag: There are multiple signs about charging for wasted food, so we got bite-sized amounts to make sure we'd like it. Learned people waste food here because it's inedible. It is also a very small selection for inadequate quality for a buffet.
Second red flag: fried rice is mushy and off color. Most food is undercooked or overcooked, and some of it is still somehow cold. Watch the sushi signs - I noticed a lot of it is ham based.
Weird and gross place. Some generic Asian buffet place items are just okay: sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon, ice cream tubs. Good luck to anyone who eats here.

Don’t go by the website prices! FALSE ADVERTISING! Website has $12.99 Tues-Thurs. I just paid $ 15.99 and the food is greasy. LIARS. Food sucked! I gave it one star because of you don’t rate at least with one star you can’t leave a review. This place deserves NO STARS! You are not honorable people!
