Went on a Saturday afternoon around 2. First time there. Lot's of open tables inside and outside but 25 min wait to be seated. Obvious once we sat down, not enough staff but worth the wait. We had the jambalaya and the Ruben. The Ruben was by far the best I've had. I highly recommend it.

I had family in town and we were trying find a non-chain restaurant to take them to. We were extremely encouraged by the reviews of this restaurant, so we decided to try it out. When we arrived, I was really impressed by the patio area. The interior was interesting, although it was really dark. We were seated right away, but service was pretty slow throughout the entire visit. I ordered the margarita chicken, because I liked all of the ingredients. I was surprised to find out that it had no flavor. Even the cheese didn't improve it. The rice was adequate, but the steamed vegetables were good. My wife got shrimp tacos. She ate 2 of the 3 tacos, but really didn't like them enough to eat the 3rd one. My dad ordered a medium sirloin steak, which came out bloody and flavorless. He also commented that the cut wasn't very good. They did offer to take it back, but we were all just turned off at that point and really didn't want wait there anymore. He left half of his food on his plate, because he didn't enjoy it. My daughter got the kids pasta, which was really only noodles and sauce. Again, it was pretty bland and unimpressive. I'm not sure why our experience varied so much more than all of these other people that left reviews, but I can say with certainty that we will not be eating here in the future.

Had oysters at the bar with margaritas, decided to stay for another and a great burger & fries (really good fries) sat at bar late afternoon sat. Bartender professional and sweet.

Muddy Waters is the place to go for both drinks and delicious food, happy hour can get really busy so get there early. They have several appetizers that are really tasty, we started out with the jumbo wings (5) and clam chowder soup and moved onto the mains which consisted of the Seafood Mac&Cheese which was lights out for it's amazing amount of crab, lobster and shrimp, simply devine! The menu is very extensive and can be hard to chose from but everything we tried was really good. The beer is ice cold and they free pour the cocktails which is great for the customers. Excellent food and drinks with an awesome staff, you just can't go wrong at JBirds.

Kevin and Dezi took excellent care of me during my time at JByrds. I will definitely visit again as I already have. Dezi was my bar tender last time. This past time I had the onion fish with Mahi. It was fantastic. Especially the rice with the meal. Excellent bar. Can get a little busy, may be worth making a reservation for a larger group. 1 or 2 can usually make it at the bar. I highly recommend this establishment.
The smokers take over the outdoor seating area, it's all full of smoke.NON-SMOKERS CANNOT SIT OUTSIDE ???

The atmosphere is so awesome. Like being inside a pirate ship. Bacon wrapped scallops delish. And of course chicken bites and sliders for the kids. I wasn't a fan of the gator bites but oddly my children loved them.
