I’ve ordered Unwiches from many Jimmy John’s locations, but the Deerfield Beach store has been the worst experience every time.
First visit: the Unwich was tiny, but I let it slide. Second visit: they told me they had no lettuce after I arrived to pick up my online order, and the staff didn’t even know how to refund me. I ended up taking a wrap I didn’t want.
Third (and final) visit: I arrived right behind three customers. The employee took their orders and then told me to “give him a few minutes,” even though my order had been placed 10 minutes earlier. He started preparing their sandwiches first. When I asked why he wasn’t making mine, he said prepping the lettuce takes time. I understand that, but my order was placed BEFORE the walk-ins, and it was to-go. Only after I questioned it did he finally make mine.
And the final product was a joke. He didn’t even wrap the ingredients inside the lettuce. He threw huge, full lettuce leaves—thick stem and all—into the paper and placed the ingredients on top, so the paper became the actual wrap. It was messy, impossible to eat, and I ended up throwing away half of it because it was basically the entire lettuce head.
Don’t bother with this location. It’s a shame it carries the Jimmy John’s name.

I placed orders twice in the past 4 days here at 835sh and both times they magically are out of bread. Might as well change store hours since they won't serve u after 830 shame this location i next to my work but won't serve you if it's too close to closing time terrible service.

Ordered the cubano at the recommendation of a co-worker. Big mistake. Way too much ham, the bacon was practically raw, it was a wrap and they used 2 wraps instead so it was too much bread. I am just going to stick with the italian from now on. I would like to get my money back. Yuck.

Ordered 2 items from this particular shop. 40 minutes later I only received 1 out of the 2 items. There was an accident on the road so the delay was understandable but the store manager, Ebony, offered to send out the item they failed to include with the original order. If the original order took more than 40 minutes to arrive, how was that solution even an option??? Wait another 40 minutes for a wrap???? So instead of offering a refund for the item not received, I am treated like I'm not understanding the situation, tells me I'm on speaker phone and that people in the shop were listening (like I care), and when I say that they made a mistake and failed to include the full order, then she quickly takes me off speaker phone. This manager simply lacks logistics common sense. Unreal. Worst experience ever with a JJ delivery.

The service was fast and friendly—they really live up to the ‘freaky fast’ motto. Perfect spot for a quick bite, and they got my order exactly right. Definitely my go-to place when I’m craving a solid sub!

Similar to Firehouse Subs or Jersey Mike's- less of a ripoff than Jersey Mike's. Their subs have a lot of meat so they're very filling but pricier than, say, Subway. No complaints about the sub itself, though I wish they gave a footlong option instead of just 8 or 16 inches (The 16 inch sub cost $26.) The restaurant is really clean and has a nice atmosphere- more of a "once in a while" type restaurant because $13 for an eight inch sub is a bit too much to eat regularly, but you do get what you pay for.
Sub was ready for pickup within 10 minutes and I liked some of the topping options like crispy jalapenos. Would be nice if they circulated coupons more often because I would eat here more but at that price it doesn't seem worth it even though the sub was great.

Wow how surprised I am. We order regularly from this location. On April 20th I placed an order for delivery. About an hour later I received a phone call that they would not be able to deliver. They told me that all of their drivers were all out at beach on 4/20/24 smoking pot and getting high! REALLY! It that what you tell your customers. They could have at least made up a better story than that.
