Kavasutra Kava Bar - Deerfield

I’ve been coming to Kavasutra Deerfield Beach almost every night for years, dropping close to $60 a night because it keeps me away from alcohol and because we’ve built a big community here. Most of my friends came from this bar. The regulars are the ones who keep the lights on, but every single year the owners find some new way to screw us over.

Now they’ve taken away game nights, killed the points/credits system, and even got rid of the little perks employees used to have to take care of customers. Those things weren’t just for fun-they were what made this place different, what kept people loyal, and what built the community. Taking all that away is not just dumb, it’s greedy and borderline unethical. I feel bad for the employees like Saul and Brandon who have worked behind the bar for years and the owners keep finding ways to make their jobs more difficult. When customers had points, the tips increase and the employee perks helped them take care of clientele for a birthday, special occasion etc.

It honestly feels like the owners don’t care about the customers or the staff at all. They’re completely out of touch and running this place straight into the ground. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if next year they started charging people to sit down or breathe the air inside. Without the community, Kavasutra is nothing, and the way things are going, they’re going to lose it. And when that happens, all that’ll be left is an empty bar and the reputation of being one of the dumbest businesses in South Florida.

Better call Saul.....thank you so much for turning a depressed uber driver's night so around brother, your kindness shall not be taken for granted.

Kava was trash didn’t do anything it’s like watered down or something also the owner said I’m not chopping up no chaser for you then tapped the 20% gratuity on his iPad. I’m good lil bro gl with your lame kava bar

Had a fantastic first-time experience at Kavasutra Deerfield Beach! Brandon, the bartender, was welcoming and knowledgeable, and the two regulars at the bar made me feel right at home. They offered great suggestions and made the experience both fun and educational. Chill vibes, great people—definitely coming back!

Small bar compared to other kava bars, 1 bathroom, they don't ask for IDs like they supposed to when serving kratom drinks for ages 21 and order so alot young kids.

Amazing healthy bar alternative option ! Anyone looking for a hangout place that isn’t a regular bar this place is for you. Fun community and atmosphere with great drinks, very relaxing Kava, teas for anytime of the day or night and weekly night events!

Kavasutra has become one of my favorite places to unwind. The vibe is always chill, and a big part of that is thanks to Saul and Brandon behind the bar. They’re super welcoming, easy to talk to, and they really create a space where you can just be yourself.

Whether you’re coming in after a long day or just stopping by to hang out, they make the whole experience feel like you’re part of something—like a little kava family. Great drinks, good people, and always a solid time.

Chess Tournament, Kava, Kratom. No better combo… for me at least, I might loose for a while, but it’s fun to loose, I get to learn more and I get to haha at my own blunders. 11/10 atmosphere as always!

Tried a new drink, and at first, the earthy taste was unusual and hard to understand. But after a few sips, I really started to enjoy it.
