First time there. Recommended by my daughter‘s friend who is a regular. Freshest best tasting sashimi I’ve had in quite some time. Service very very good. We will be back for sure.

All of the food was delicious and well worth the price! I went a little overboard ordering, but it was worth it 😅 Even though she was really busy helping out tables and I was just solo dining, my waitress was very kind and provided excellent service, filling up my water throughout dinner, explaining how to eat the shrimp head that came with my omakase, and so on. Definitely will come back in the future! 💚

Amazing place and people.

This is our new go-to sushi place after our first visit last year. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and never overly crowded. We ordered:
1) Branzini carpaccio with truffle oil/ponzu- topped with minimal scallions, seaweed, alfalfa sprouts, clear noodles that all goes together each bite
2) Sushi deluxe- 11 pieces of nigiri with either tuna or salmon roll; can’t go wrong with it and the nice presentation.
3) Uni angel hair pasta- typically $$ anywhere you go; topped with one piece of uni (it would be fair with another piece at least for the price), ikura, dried shredded seaweed, and wasabi that needed to be mixed all together. This pasta dish is a very unique taste but if you like uni, then you good.

Friendly service, good quality fish, typical $$ price, but satisfied bellies. Definitely recommend!

I had a really great time. This place has true authentic quality Japanese food. Our waitress was Super nice she recommended some great dishes. I recommend you just get a bunch of Items and share it because you’ll really be able to explore the menu. This place is a chill vibe, not overwhelming very nice and calm atmosphere. I wish I could remember the names of all the dishes but to be real I don’t. They were all really delicious though. if you are picky this is not the place for you.

Hands Down the Best Sushi in Florida! 🍣🌟

We’ve tried a lot of sushi spots since moving to Florida, and nothing has come close to Masamune in Deerfield Beach! Jay and Nick are beyond incredible—true artists at the sushi bar. Not only is the quality top-tier and consistently fresh, but the service is also what sets them apart.

They remember exactly what we like—Jay knows my go-to order (avocado roll with cream cheese in soy paper, no fish!) without me even having to say anything except how many I want. That kind of personal attention is rare and so appreciated.

And let’s not forget Bruce, the owner, who is always welcoming and checks on guests to make sure everything is perfect. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and the experience they have.

Masamune isn’t just a sushi restaurant—it’s a place where you feel like part of the family. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is hands down my favorite sushi spot in South Florida. Every time I dine here, I leave full, happy, and dreaming about the next visit. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is on point, and the chefs? Let me tell you—Nick, Jay, and Bruce are true sushi artists.

The nigiri is OUTSTANDING—some of the freshest and most perfectly balanced I’ve ever had. The salmon nigiri literally melts in your mouth with its buttery texture, and the tuna nigiri is silky, clean, and flavorful. Even the madai and fujisan rainbow trout nigiri felt luxurious and delicate. You can taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite.

Whether you’re craving something simple like a classic avocado roll with soy paper and cream cheese or want a full omakase-style feast, they’ve got you covered. Even the BBQ eel and chicken katsu curry were bomb.

Nick, Jay, and Bruce—thank you for always taking care of us. You’ve turned Masamune into our go-to sushi haven. If anyone deserves a tip and a shoutout, it’s you three.

Great fresh sushi. A hidden gem. This is my go to for solid Japanese and fresh sushi. The blue fin tuna set, aburrí salmon belly, hamachi always my go to nigiri. I’ve also bought my fresh catches after a day of fishing and they prepped the whole fish for my group.
