Stopped by and found this super cool spot and very chill people! Met a lot of cool folks 🚀Only good vibes with no Drama and full of energy and sweet vibes. Pool tables, Video games, cool bar and vintage decor. Pay this hidden gem a visit and you’ll never be disappointed

One of the best kava bars in town, when I went in for the first time Nico was behind the bar and he made me feel so at home and comfortable I felt like I’ve been coming there for ages, he recommended the perfect drink for me and he included me a lot but I can go on and on about what makes this place such a vibe but overall just a great spot to chill and hangout.

Went in on New Year’s Eve and had a fantastic time the bartender Nico was on point whenever I need a drink or food he helped me in a very timely matter and left me in awe of his skills as a bartender will definitely be coming back in his shifts

I have been in the Kava bar community in Palm Beach County since 2020. When Pause Delray closed I felt like I lost a second home. An acquaintance recommended Back Room and I became a regular since my first visit. Rarely does a Kava bar hit every note: atmosphere, service and the product is fresh, consistent and delivers that relaxing buzz. The staff is kind, attentive and professional, much love and gratitude to Dan, Grace and Peyton. And I want to add a special review for Grace. One time on an exceedingly busy evening I was nervous if I got the red tea (highly allergic to anything else). Kavatenders elsewhere treat the bar like their kingdom and make you feel unworthy or a nuisance if you respectfully make a request or express concern. I was extremely nervous expressing my fear to Grace but I didn't want to risk an allergic reaction. Grace genuinely cared about my dietary needs and did not hesitate to serve me again to put me at ease. I was so moved to be treated with such care. Grace truly is grace!

i went to this place we got id by this girl with a bandana on, she id the three of us, saw all of our ids, and after my friend said she doesnt want anything, she then replied , there is a ten dollar chill fee per person and theres three of us. So we said goodbye because we have been there a lot of times before and never had to pay a fee just to be inside the place. weird. won’t come back.

Edit: i forgot to mention i was planning on getting a drink from the fridge like coke or something not kava, and i was standing off to the side like walking near the fridge to see what they have and she’s like staring at me while my friends were at the front. She randomly looked at me and asked to id me which is okay with me, but she gave me a dirty look, and just was pretty rude to me. I never « laughed or snickered » like the owner said i did in a reply to my friends review.

When you come to The Backrooms, make sure to check out their amazing bartenders — especially Payton, the pink-haired legend behind the bar. She’s super cool, makes incredible drinks, and knows her stuff when it comes to kava and kratom. If you’re new, she’s more than happy to help you out, and her drink recommendations are always on point.

i love this place, i’ve been coming for 2 years. even before the new owner took over, let me tell you this is place is nothing like it was before. the new owners made this place amazing, the music is amazing, the drink are amazing, and the people here are so welcoming. definitely a place you don’t wanna miss out on. also i wanna add grace and dan(bartenders) do far and beyond for their customers and the bar

Backrooms Kava Bar is easily one of the best spots in town, and a huge part of that is thanks to Dan. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel welcome and at home. He always greets you with a smile, takes the time to explain the menu, and his recommendations are spot on whether you’re brand new to kava or a regular. You can tell he really knows his stuff and genuinely cares about the people who come in.

The vibe he creates is relaxed, friendly, and community-driven — exactly what you want from a kava bar. Dan has a way of remembering faces and names, which makes the experience feel personal every time. With him behind the bar, you’re guaranteed great service, great conversation, and an overall great experience. Backrooms is already a cool place, but Dan truly takes it to the next level.

Such an awesome spot! The art on the walls gives it a creative, alternative vibe, and the pool tables and game nights (bingo, ping pong, live music—you name it!) keep things fun and lively. It’s got a super homey feel, just a short walk from the beach, and the community here is always welcoming. Huge shoutout to Jess, the owner, who makes everyone feel right at home. Easily one of my favorite places to relax, play, and connect.
