PAUSE KAVA BAR a little gem hidden on a quiet street across from The Deerfield Beach Town Hall. I walked in and was greeted by the 3Js Joey, Jordyn & James. They took the time to educate me on the differences in the Kava/Kratom strings and now I’m a fan of their teas. Thank you for the “this is your home “ feeling I get every time I walk in.

Great vibes, great drinks, great people. Recommend going when Kyras working, she has such a beautiful spirit and will make you feel right at home!
Its always a great experience coming to Pause Deerfield! James (GM), Joey and Alayna are super knowledgeable, super friendly, and create and serve amazing kratom and kava. Vegan lite bites by Keith @vegansnackdaddy82 are amazing too. Definitely one of my favorite places to meet up with family and friends, and visit my Pause fam! :)

Just noticed this place in passing and was curious whether any drink with kratom in it could possibly taste good. (I use the capsules for inflammation & tried the powder once, so nasty…!) But the very friendly bartender (forgot to ask his name) mixed up a kratom & mango drink for me that was amazing! Totally impressed! I come to Deerfield beach several times a year to see family & this place will be a regular place to stop from now on!

Everything was nice inside, and menu was great. Cool place. But wifi didn't work on my laptop for my first two visits. After getting nicely set up and comfortable, and ordered, immidiately had to leave to use the bars next door wifi twice to be able to use my laptop. My visits were 3-4 weeks apart with no fix on the wifi. Will not be back. No other complaints though beautiful place and wifi I think still works on your phone.

I was banned for literally joking around. Terrible owners but awesome kavatenders. Hope the awful owners learn to treat people fairly and not bend to the whim of randoms complaining and starting drama. Will be telling my friends NOT to come to any of the pauses.
