We’re regulars at Phat Boy Sushi & Kitchen in Deerfield Beach, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back it’s consistently excellent! Whether you’re a sushi lover, a fan of creative appetizers, or just looking for great happy hour deals, this place has it all.

The happy hour is one of the best around not only for the pricing, but for the variety and quality of dishes. From the crispy shrimp appetizers, salmon belly nigiri, and tuna salad rolls, to the flavorful fried bites, everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The kitchen delivers bold flavors with a creative twist we love their wonton nachos, shrimp tempura, and saucy fried chicken served with scallions and just the right amount of heat. And don’t even get us started on the torched salmon nigiri , it melts in your mouth every single time.

The atmosphere is chill but modern, and the service is always friendly and fast. Whether we’re out for a casual dinner or bringing friends for a bite and drinks, Phat Boy never disappoints.

We ordered hibachi steak, veggies roll, chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, spider and a dragon roll. All the food taste good, fast service, quiet and clean. The dinning room lightning is quite dim but I honestly loved it!

Really like this place for the Yaki Soba, Kimchi Fried Rice and the Dragon Roll. Always super fresh and good portions. Decently priced considering how expensive everything is now and their lunch specials are also very good. This is my go to take out spot.

Had dinner with my family, everything we had was delicious. Our server Visa, made our dinner so pleasant, he was very kind and attentive, always with a smile on his face! It was a pleasure to be relaxed and well treated, we’ll definitely come back soon!

Cannot recommend this place enough!! Best sushi I’ve ever had. So fresh and literally melts in your mouth. I got the Salmon Lover roll and my husband got the Dragon roll, both were so yummy. We also got the fried rice and they were able to make it gluten free since I have Celiac!! Our server Mui was so sweet and helpful with making things gluten free for me. Our top go-to restaurant when we’re in Deerfield!

Food was solid, but wow first time here and they hit me with 3 Oreos and a scoop of ice cream for $11 plus tax 😳. I’ve been to a lot of sushi spots, usually get 6 Oreos! These ones must be rent-paying Oreos 😂 That dessert markup had me doing math at the table like 💀📉🍪

I like this place. happy hour is 3-6 with solid choices. the service is on point, the food is delicious and presented well, everything's clean, chef looks ready to kill it. need a late lunch or pre-dinner? -this is it!
