We enjoyed our breakfast at Sylvain’s several times while on vacation. The service was friendly and the servers kept our coffee cups filled.Some items we really enjoyed included the “fluffy muffin”, grits, well-done bacon, and build your own omelette.

This place used to be legendary. Now you go in and you feel like you have to apologize just for walking in. I asked the waiter if we could sit outside and instead of a nice professional reply he says “no.” And that they’re closing in 20 minutes. Mind you, it was 1:45pm and their Google listing says they close at 2:30pm.
Crazy way to treat patrons when you’re in the hospitality industry. Hopefully the little bald weird guy gets fired. Not coming back until he’s gone. What a shame. Was a patron for years.

This morning, I had a delightful and cozy experience at this cafe. It was my first time here, and Melody, the staff member, was incredibly patient and kind. She provided me with excellent food suggestions and created a wonderful atmosphere. I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes. The food and service were both exceptional, earning a perfect 10/10 rating!

The service was extremely poor due to waitress forgetting our place in line, sarcastic remarks during serving us, and wrong bill this all happened on January 11th. I would not recommend and will never go back again. Good customer service is still needed in 2026.
