Food is perfect. Is it worth $63 per entree? Yes considering it’s twice as good as your typical $30-ish entree you get somewhere else. French onion soup was the highlight for me.

Tradition in Boca Raton delivers an old-world French dining experience that feels confidently classic from the moment you sit down, with white tablecloths, polished glassware, and small thoughtful touches like the single yellow rose at the table. The goat cheese salad is a standout—creamy, torched cheese over crisp greens with bright acidity and clean balance—while the escargot arrives swimming in rich garlic-parsley butter, exactly the comforting, traditional preparation you hope for. The filet mignon au poivre is cooked accurately and served with a velvety peppercorn cream sauce that leans fully into its French roots, and the half duck à l’orange offers crisp skin and a citrus glaze that avoids the overly sweet versions you sometimes find. Desserts are quietly exceptional, from a perfectly caramelized crème brûlée served in a cast-iron dish to a beautifully layered apple tart framed with vanilla and raspberry sauces, each plate feeling intentional without being fussy. Even the cappuccino is rich, frothy, and generously dusted with cocoa, rounding out the meal with warmth. The menu leans proudly into classic French—Champagne sauces, Meunière, escargot, foie gras—priced on the higher side for Boca but justified by consistency and portion sizes. Service is attentive without hovering, and the overall atmosphere feels intimate and timeless, making Tradition a dependable, charming French restaurant that executes familiar dishes with confidence and delivers a satisfying, unpretentious dining experience.

I cannot say enough about how good this restaurant is. The food, service and ambiance were a revelation in a strip mall storefront on Rte 1. I stayed with the classics, onion soup and beef short ribs, my girlfriend had a calves liver special. Everything was perfect. The chef graciously sent us a sample of the apple tart along with our creme Brule. We will definitely return on our next trip.

What a truly truly amazing restaurant! Finally THE perfect authentic French restaurant. From start to finish, it is perfect. Pricing is high, but completely worth it and validated. I would have to say, it is my favorite restaurant in Palm Beach and Broward County.

The atmosphere? Très chic! It brings to mind a cozy corner of a Michelin-starred spot in France—minus the need for a passport or the pressure to pronounce *foie gras* perfectly.

Every dish, from the first amuse-bouche to the last dreamy dessert, is lovingly prepared by Chef Eric, whose French magic is unmistakable. The service? Smooth, attentive, and just fancy enough to make you feel like someone switched your life to the gourmet setting.
