My son went there today and it's no longer Umbertos. The new owners made massive increases to the prices and the workers were very weird. Tried to upsell him to get a whole pie and a drink. He was at the beach and just wanted a slice a Za, which would run about $4 a slice Even in today's crazy inflationary times but two slices cost him $12. This place surely won't survive a year.

Pizza was excellent!We ordered takeout and it was kinda weird.They put my husband on hold forever, then wouldn’t pick up after he called again multiple times. When I called from my phone, they picked up right away and took my order. He went to pick up and saw them putting others on hold for no apparent reason.They told me it would take 40 minutes, but it was ready 15 minutes later when my husband arrived.Maybe something was wrong just tonight. But if I was a manager I’d want to know if employees were doing this for no reason.

I live on the beach, and do not drive. I have to take an Uber round-trip to pick up my pizza. I have ordered from them many times and Done just that.When I called today to make my order, I was told I had to come in waves, and then they proceeded to hang up on me!The pizza is delicious, but not worth the rudeness. Best pizza in all of Deerfield, grandma slice is our favorite. Definitely my son's favorite and everybody that works through so nice just be aware they do sell ice cream next-door lol

I probably wouldn't have tried this place except we ended up staying in Deerfield for a week due to a pipe leak. I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza. I didn't really expect the pizza place near the water to be that good, because restaurants near the water don't have to be good because no matter what they're going to get business from vacationers. I ended up liking this pizza way more than a bunch of other pizza places I've tried in the area. I feel like a lot of pizza places lack flavor, but this place definitely doesn't. Their garlic knots were also great! The only issue is there isn't a ton of parking nearby that's free, so it's easiest to do delivery, unless you're in walking distance.

Ate ice cream next door, then thought...hmm..I want pizza also. Walked in, ordered a lg pepperoni, and he said 10min, but, said if I wanted the one that was in the display he'd reheat it and would be in minutes. 3 min to be exact! Popped it in a box, we went home, and...it's gone. Next time I'm getting my own...dang kids of mine left nothing. Anyway, as usual, a great local place across from the pier/beach. ps...ice cream is nextdoor. Thanks again guys! Perfecto!
