We saw reviews when hunting online for a good dinner while traveling. It wasn’t much to look at from the road but DONT judge this book by it’s cover… it was fabulous! I had the pulled chicken plate with coleslaw, husband the pulled pork with baked beans and potato salad (which was FABULOUS), all cooked perfectly and very lean - chicken breast meat piled high. BBQ sauce was not my fave, but if I lived close I’m sure I’d line up with the rest of the locals on a regular basis. We also shared a scoop of the caramel pecan homemade ice cream which was quite tasty.

Great hole in the wall with unique dishes. I had the pulled pork grilled cheese. It's a secret menu item and is highly recommended.

The best Cuban I've ever had. Ample meat to bread ratio. They smoke their own meats. Candied pecans are awesome. I got caramel. I'm gonna try apple next time. Great food. Family owned and opperated.

So glad we got off the interstate for lunch! This tiny cafe is packed with delicious food, friendly service and 80's decor and video games. I had the Cuban sandwich and my hubby had the tri-tip steak sandwich. Both were huge and packed with flavor. Thanks for a great lunch stop!

Had the pleasure of visiting this small and unpretentious restaurant. Good service but the food far surpassed my expectations. The Cuban sandwich was excellent but the Crab Rangoon Grilled Cheese sandwich was out of this world! My next time I’m traveling down I-10 I will not make the mistake of driving past this exit!!!
One of the best places in town... in my opinion, its the best to get some of the most juicy, smoked sandwiches you can have anywhere around. Our family and friends eat here almost daily.
The Cuban Sandwich was AMAZING! Homemade bread!!!! Jason, his wife, and crew have create a masterpiece menu! When travelers ask locals, "Where's the best place to eat", 2As Mossy Head Diner was one of their 1st replies!!! Yes, they are right!
Caution about the parking, but the diner is on a main road and easy to find.

Me and my fiance went here today and it was wonderful! I got the monte cristo and the mrs. Got the jalapeño grilled cheese we both got Mac and cheese and sweet tea, it was absolutely delicious and we will absolutely be going back to try out more things, they’re menu is different but in a great way! They have a bunch of things I’ve never seen but I believe all of them would be great! But they also have more conservative options, we also got their home made butter pecan ice cream and though I’m not usually a fan of that flavor it was absolutely delicious we also got a banana pudding milkshake and it was wonderful 10/10 would go again and recommend to anyone plus the service was fast, and friendly.

I cannot rave about this place's food more! Small local place, maybe seating for 20 in the diner. Service is excellent even when they are slammed with pick up and dine in orders! It's about 45 minutes away from where I live, but always worth the drive. My go-to is always the Cuban sandwich and their baked beans are the best I've ever had. If you haven't been, you are truly missing out on this gem.
