Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

Pizza is great for the price and so are thier other menu options. my only issue is with the owner. She is gruff and crabby. Definitely not customer service oriented.

Vegetarian options: Veggies pizza is a great go to even if your not a vegetarian. Just no vegan options i noticed.

Ordered three pizzasThe delivery driver showed up a half an hour early at our meeting locationDelivery time was supposed to be 6:30. Therefore our pizza was cold by the time we got home.Could not tell. the difference between the 3 pizzas a lot of cheese barely any toppings.

I always have a great experience at this location! Tonight though, there was a miscommunication on my online order which offered a free regular Howie bread. It did not show up on my email receipt or print-out of my order in the kitchen. The manager, Rita, happily made me some Howie bread at no charge and I am a very happy girl! Very grateful and will always be coming back! Like I said, always great service but this was awesome!!!

I really enjoy Hungry Howie's. Their food is done very well. The pizza is just a little sweet.

Amazing crust, and the pizza as a whole somehow genuinely tastes better than other hungry howies. We ordered half pepperoni and Cajun and half butter crust and cheese and the pizza was 70% pepperoni and cajun but other than that it genuinely was amazing!

I was picking up a carryout order on Sunday, May 26 2024 at about 4:40PM, and while I was waiting to get to the counter, two woman were ordering ahead of me, speaking only in Spanish. The employee at the register (shorter, long dark brown hair) did not do anything to try and translate, she just spoke loudly and repeated herself until she seemed irritated and moved on to the next question. At the end of the transaction, when asking for a name, for the order, the customer gave it to her and the employee did not understand. So she goes to a different employee that SPEAKS Spanish. It is clear that either this store has no protocol to support Spanish-speaking customers, or these employees were just ignorant and don't care about serving anyone that doesnt speak English. That experience was embarrassing and I hope that the employees can learn some basic empathy and communication skills

Hands down the only place to get pizza, salads, wings or calzones (subs) in DFS! We order every so often and though there are times when they get the order wrong, because humans do that, their customer service is top notch! That is a quality that is hard to find these days! Chad (I hope I got his name right), the one-legged driver, is the best and is always a joy!
